I hear you on the "family stuff" too...it looks like they're going to release my mom from the nursing home early next week, and she wants to go home. Since she lives alone, and it's over 30 minutes away, I'm not at all happy about that idea. I'm going to try to get her to go into Assisted Living...at least for a little while. There she'll get some support, as well as help with her medications, meals and laundry, but she can come and go as she feels like it....the fact they have a call light in the rooms in case she needs help in the middle of the night is great too.

Doogle got his shot 30 minutes late yesterday due to family stuff. Tried to get back as fast as we could. Then Doogle was so wiggly and uncooperative I think he got a partial shot.

Tomorrow Doogle goes in to get his teeth cleaned and see if there is any thing else going on (possible infections or something). I am also going to see if he will do a UTI test just to make sure (no real signs but he didnt have them before either).

At the office I worked at for my mother in law there are feral cats she feeds. Well we were there the other day to help her with a computer problem (although I was laid off, she still relies on us). There was this cute tiny kitten that was eating and they said it just showed up. Well today one of the Momma feral cats attacked the new kitten and he ran to my mother in law. She was able to get him and take him to our vet and have him checked. He is 10 weeks old, malnourished and under developed but free of diseases. Our vet said someone probably dumped there and seen her feeding others and figured she would take care of them. Well we will see him tomorrow and the vet made a joke with the DH today when he went to pick up eye drops for the little one we have now (still no name that sticks) and he was like ugghh. He joked with him about putting him out for me to see because he knows I am a sucker for the unwanted kitties. So trying to decide, do I bring him home and give the little one a playmate or let them try and find a home. Remember now, I already have 14 indoor cats and 3 outdoor cats that adopted me. I am such a sucker...lol

Now you know darn good and well that kitten is coming home with you tomorrow :lol: :lol:

It'll be nice for your young one to have a playmate...keeps them from driving the older cats crazy if they have each other to burn off steam

I remembered that Sienne. :-D :-D Hope all goes well tomorrow. I am sure he is coming home. Cant let that crazy cat lady title go to waste....LOL. Unless he found a home late today....then I will be sad.
