just got her random bg test, ran out of time this morning and didn't get it done.
Shadow didn't want to eat again last night...
I gave her Pepcid ac and sure enough, 30 minutes later she was licking at it, but she didn't eat maybe a 1/4 of what I served.... and that was all she ate for the entire night.
She ate most of her half of a ff appetizer this morning.
I showered and gave her a dose of Pepcid.
And then she ate about 3 teaspoons of ff trout feast when I left for appts. She mostly just licked all the fluid off ( but that's better than nothing)
I gave her ff chunky chicken just an hour ago and she ate 1/4 of a can then.....
so that's the first normal serving in the last few days......
So I called her vet and got an apt for early tomorrow morning.... and we'll do a blood draw.... It's a little early on her 6 month checkup but only by a month.
Today is day 328 otj.....
I will try to fast her from at least midnight on..... ( 9 hour fast) .... might be from 9 pm if I actually go to bed and fall asleep.
of course, I expect now that she will be willing to eat since she can't have any thing. :roll:
I dreamt all last night about her being diagnosed CKD. Paws crossed that we aren't going there.
It wasn't a good nights sleep at all.
