9/23 Recap:
AMPS 91  +6 261 +9 173
PMPS 188 +9 100

I'm calling that +9 last night green, it is on the World version of the SS? That was our get up for rowing time. Neko came into the bedroom as soon as she heard the alarm, rolled over for belly rubs and started purring. So I was curious to see what number was her happy zone. :-D

I'm off to see DM and DF today, in the ferry line up. DH is in charge at home but I got a permission slip anyway. What was pouring rain this morning and cancelled practice has turned into blue skies and sunshine. Cats will spend the day in the solarium.

Re: 9/24 Neko AMPS 113 +3 297

Great cycles for Neko yesterday- clearly, you can just bet that +9 was actually 99(meter variance, world meter and all)!!! ;-) :-D In the light of the horrible weather the past 2 days, I sure don't envy you rowing when it's like this- I sure hope the day of your regatta is not like today! ohmygod_smile I sure hope you had a gentle ferry ride over to see DM and DF, I hope DM is feeling better - stay dry!

Re: 9/24 Neko AMPS 113 +3 297

I hope Neko slides down and gives you a nice number when you get home. I hope you have a good visit with your parents and your DM is doing better.

Re: 9/24 Neko AMPS 113 +3 297

I hope you find your DM recuperating nicely and pain free. I'm also hoping Neko had a good surprise for you when you get home.

Re: 9/24 Neko AMPS 113 +3 297

Silly Neko, you are going in the wrong direction! That is ok, just turn yourself right around and head back down....nice, slowly and safely....

No, no, no, Neko, turn that around. Too bad on the cancelled practice but good timing for your trip to the island. Hope DM is healing quickly.

And around and up we go. I got home in time for PMPS - always good to be appreciated.

@Ruth, Carla, Elise, Molly, Liz - Neko always seems to be an overachiever when I want a permission slip. And I didn't really need it because DH was home. DM is better than last time I saw her, she's moving well with the walker and back to taking a few independent steps using the kitchen counter as a support. She'd made home made soup and biscuits for lunch so she's managing quite well. I brought a bunch of groceries so she won't have to bake as much. I'd prefer she stay off her feet more. Some things are hurting more than they were at this point last time, but the first side is still not 100% healed. It was gorgeous on the island. I spend a couple hours in the garden getting the raspberries ready for winter and picking a bunch of veggies for my parents to eat in the next week.

Hi Wendy,

I'm sorry to hear that your mother's not well. I hope she continues to recover. I'm also sorry to hear about Neko's tumour in her jaw. Big hugs to you both.

I hope the acupuncture helped, even if Neko wasn't so keen on relaxing. Angie goes into hissing and growling fits while the vet tries to get the needles in. But then she almost falls asleep on the table while the vet leaves her to relax. We started using a laser acupuncture pointer - the vet said they're not as effective but they still work. She's given me some points that I can do from home for her asthma.

Neko - I hope you're working on a lovely ambg for your mama when she wakes up!

:-D Take care of yourself Wendy, while you're taking care of Neko and your parents.

Grace
