Muffin seems to be going nowhere but up, so I shot this 195 (I think ;-) ) with just a tiny drop, after making sure there was no possible contraband she could've gotten into. I'm surprisingly un-bothered by this little setback. ;-) If she needs a little help, she'll get a little help. Does make me wonder if the denamarin is going to be enough to resolve the pancreatitis. I may have to consider using the prednisone. So we'll see what she does with this. I missed her Denamarin yesterday :oops: ohmygod_smile - completely forgot about it what with my grandma babysitting duties. I've now set a daily alarm on my phone tho. Muffin is feeling good this morning, furry and purry and now enjoying breffis. Cleetus and Oscar go in this afternoon for their boosters.

Hi guys ... Have fingers crossed that the little drop of juice today brings muffin back down .. sorry to hear about the forgotten meds, if only the cats came to us at med times like they do at food times we'd be all set :lol: have a great day guys!

Ok, Muffin just had me really worried. +2 test is late because I couldn't find her....anywhere. I searched all known locations, plus everywhere else I could think of. nailbite_smile Then I start having thoughts like "she's hiding because she's crashing...she could be somewhere going hypo...etc etc. So I called and called her and sat back down at the computer, and then she was just here with me. I wish she'd tell me where she was. Anyway, +2.25 is 91. She ate the rest of her breffis, and licked the bowl clean. I'll give her another tsp to try and slow her down. Feel free to surf here Baby Girl! I'm perfectly happy with low 90's - upper 80's!

Shadow did that to me early on here. One night while we were watching tv, I noticed she wasn't sitting here and started looking. And I looked everywhere. All her known places.
She ignored my calling.
She ignored the pop of the catnip jar. ( and that almost always works.. eventually....)

so they we are all looking. And everything I had neatly stashed for MIL visit had to be dismantled ( shambles , of course) just in case she was hypo'd in some tiny crevice.
We had flashlights , dug thru all the deep crevices and nothing.
I was in tears.
And then after having looked everywhere at least 5 times I tried again in one more possible spot that I was sure she wasn't there. i had looked 5 times.

I do stained glass.... and I have a table with boxes of glass under it ( boxed for her protection) and various other things crammed under there. She was there.
She had gotten all the way back behind everything in the smallest corner where I couldn't see. Just laying there, ignoring me.....I ran and tested her immediately.....
That door is closed now....!!!

I had that feeling once before when my daughter , 4 yrs old , disappeared in a line waiting for a movie in santa fe mall. We couldn't figure out how she disappeared so fast
and even yelled loudly her name to make sure everyone there knew there was a child missing!!!! checked exits for suspicous characters, everything....
felt like an eternity before we discovered she had gone inside and was staring at the candy counter..... whew!!

oh my gosh anne, i am sooo glad muffin re-appeared!! what a fright!! they are just little houdinis sometimes aren't they? reuben did the disappearing act a little while back and i was in a panic of course -- looking outside and inside, upstairs and downstairs, calling and calling -- and finally spied him curled up on a low hidden corner shelf of a bookcase right here in the living room! cat_pet_icon
rhiannon, i`m wondering if maybe shadow wants you to make a stained glass piece of her?? :lol:

Missed +3 helping DS clean Lola's tank (turtle). She is remaining out and about now tho. So +3.75 63. Fed another tsp LC.

Sienne - I agree completely :lol:

Devon - wouldn't it be great if they enjoyed meds as much meals?

Ann - Yep, I'll believe she'll get there too, even if it requires occasional visits here. Maybe she just misses her friends here too much!

Rhiannon - Love the drama cat pic! :lol: The panic is bad enough when kitty is missing, but with I'm sure with your 4-yr old daughter, it had to be a hundred times worse. :o

Tara - Thank you so much for the great pic and the positive thoughts. We are keeping the faith around here!

Reuben's Mom - (sorry I don't know your name off the top of my head - so many new people here!) They are definitely houdinis, and I don't care how many times I find them, and how many new hiding spots I discover them in, they can always come up with a new one! ohmygod_smile And she's not talking about where it is! :?

Moonie is always in some obscure place--I run around the house screaming Moonie(like where could she go??)
Suddenly out she comes from a closet or somewhere...,DRAMA=FD cats--Hugs & Love from us!

Life got kinda crazy around here. +10 78 and Denamarin given. Running out now to meet friends for coffee!

Oh, that feeling! Max has done that to me a million times -- each time we move, and then after I started giving him insulin -- I was terrified he would crawl off somewhere and die! It wasn't likely. He would come for food first, I think.

Hi Anne - sorry for the late post... another day where the bean went and played, now I try and catch up!

I'm with sienne - phooey! But you are right, if she needs help, no doubt she will get it. Just a tiny setback... Mannie will do that too: disappear, and I look and look and look.... come inside and teh next thing I know there he is. Where he goes, I ave no idea. :roll:

Pmps was 108 - shot was 10 mins late, as I was a little late getting back from coffee with the girls. +2 86, so I don't think I'll be up all night tonight. :thumbup Muffin spent a good portion of her day in that new hiding spot, but she did come around when I wanted to test her. Well, okay, I wanted a +9, but she apparently had other ideas... :lol:

+3 56 She ate at +2, ate another tsp now, and she has a lot of food still in bowl. This is above and beyond her regular dinner tho.
