This is Doug. He is a dry food addict. I had no idea!

I brought their old food downstairs so I would remember to take it and donate it somewhere and this crazy cat wouldn't leave the bags alone. He was trying to chew through the bag, he tried opening the bags, he tried knocking the smaller one off the counter. He wouldn't stop! So I got a few pieces of kibble out and gave it to him. Next thing I know, Kitten is right there meowing like a banshee and trying to jump up on the counter (which she can't do anymore) to get to the food. She was nowhere to be found earlier but must've smelled the kibble when I opened the bag and came running. How crazy! I never knew.........

Happy Day 8!
:):):):):cat::cat::cat::cat:

My cats go crazy for dry food if they find any. I hadn't had any in the house for over a year and found a small sample bag I had ordered and forgot about. It was open and I spilled some on the floor. They went crazy.

My two go crazy for freeze dried treats. It’s how I get them to go where I need them to be. They have never had dry. I bought a bag of Dr. Elsey’s thinking I could give a little as a treat and they wouldn’t touch it. They have been fed raw since about 7 months old which they eat each meal in under a minute.
Happy Day 8! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Mine are the total opposite. I got them raw food when Kitten was first diagnosed and they just snubbed their noses at it. Wouldn't even touch it. They'll kill and eat a whole rabbit from outside but wont touch the super fancy raw rabbit food I bought them. Gotta love cats! Lol!

LOL! Doug looks very, very pleased with himself.
Butters hasn't eaten dry food since she moved in with me when she was four years old, but she is a freeze dried chicken addict. Just the sight of the bag causes her to start drooling very large, slip-and-fall puddles of drool. If I leave the bag within reach, she will tear through it in about five seconds flat.

Yay for day 8! :D:D:D

That freeze dried stuff is a big hit at my house too. With the cats and the dogs. I don't have a drooler though. Lol! That's cute!!!!
