Good Harvest Moon Morning, Everyone!
Stu decided to celebrate the Harvest Moon by dropping 150 points by +2!! Fed him some 12% Merrick Thanksgiving Day Dinner. I started a new Lantus cartridge this morning even though it has been only 25 days, because I didn't want to take a chance on the old cartridge expiring while we are in NYC. (The drop of 150 points is probably unrelated to the new cartridge, since onset probably would not begin until +2.). Anyway, Stu ate some of his breakfast He wasn't interested in the Wellness turkey this A.M. and only ate a little of the alternative, Cowboy Cookout, so I gave him some EV0 95% Chicken & Turkey and he ate some of that. But what he was really waiting for was the Thanksgiving Day Dinner, which he cleaned up! The cat knows! He took his pill on the 3rd try. Lb. received its contributions. We've been outside briefly, waiting for the sunshine to appear through the mist. It has finally done that, so I'll take him out again. I decided not to go on the hike today. Too much to do, and have to get our finances in shape for the trip to NYC. Also, our friend is coming over to fix our dining-room table (which he made for us and which needs a little glue and clamping).
Back later, Everyone have a good Full Moon Day and the first full day of autumn, and thanks again for your support and good wishes at our NEWS!

Hey kitties: Here are some of the dishes we'll be enjoying tonight at the Harvest Moon Ball and Banquet: tuna dip, scallop cheviche, chopped chicken liver canapes, grouse in aspic, pumpkin soup, pigeon pie, roast quail, grilled shrimp, grilled turkey kabobs, poached salmon, quiche Lorraine, deviled duck eggs, pumpkin pie with catnip crust and whipped cream, Moon pie (all whipped cream), mouse mousse (with whipped cream), catmint parfaits (with whipped cream) and anything else that anyone wishes to bring along. Kitchen Crew: We have a lot of cooking to do. Let's get there early so that Patbean won't worry. See you later!
