This is our new addition, Emmie. She is a sweet, mild tempered little girl that happen to stroll into our hearts yesterday.
Although I thought it was a bit of bad timing with Keegan's passing (already been 7 weeks) and Pixie's temperament, it is what it is.
Nobody wanted her because she wasn't pretty like her litter mates. We think she's beautiful.
I am a sucker. Once they pass through my front door, they are family. We will make this work.
She adores my dogs and family and is not afraid of Mr. Pix although he hisses at her whenever she is near.
But then again, Pix hisses at all of us.

Awww.... what a cutie! Any chance the little one will mellow Pixie out? (On the other hand, pixies aren't known for their mellow temperament!)

There is extreme beauty in that sweet little face of hers! Come on!!! All cats are beautiful both inside and out. I love black cats (had 4, now have 1), and I think they're extremely sweet, loving, beautiful cats.

Thank you for taking her into your home, and giving her a loving, and caring family to love on her, spoil her rotten, etc. Pixie will either learn to like her, or not. Miss Emma will have to learn to deal with him, or stay out of his way. I'm glad that she likes dogs, and it sounds like that the dogs like her, too. She is, after all, a baby, and I think the dogs see that.

Go, Miss Emma!!! Charm the dickens out of Pixie, will ya? :lol: Show him tons of your cuteness. He'll melt.

Pixie's got a new roomie,
Emmie kitten looks to zoomie,
cross the floor and back again,
no one knows where she has been,
inside now out of the cold weather,
hope Pixie and Emmie learn to get along together!

Lauri! She is so precious! How could someone think she is not pretty?? I love black kitties too - always had black ones until Bob and Hector showed up on my balcony. Well, she's obviously family if Pixie is hissing at her like he does everyone else. :lol: Kittens bring so much life into the house. I know you all will enjoy her!

She is beautiful and helping me type this at the moment!
Pixie has gone from "Oh hell no!" to "I don't like you"
So day 2 was better than day 1.
Here's hoping for a great day 3!!

And I agree....Black Cats Rule. She fits in this family perfectly.
