Yesterday was..... BLUE DAY in MannieLand. WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group was performing LIVE in Central Park, and on the steps of the museum, and on the rooftops Rusty's home way from home, NYC .... It seems that the sounds of blue jammin' was heard from one end of NYC to the other.... Way to go Mannie. It was wonderful to see him have an all blue day. WOO HOO! can we repeat this again today Mannie? With that amps this morning, I dunno..... lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was a SNOOZEEEEEEEEEEEEEE day for Mannie yesterday. The first day of Fall did not disappoint, PNW style :roll: : it was cool. gray, drizzly and rainy... a day for snuggles and snoozin' and nappin' and snorin' in one warm fleece kitty bed, and so he did. We had an impromptu visit from DGS, DD and DSIL - for a few hours yesterday afternoon. Just like the day before Nicholas decided that Mannie needed some running activity. Poor Kitty! DGS is so typical of a toddler: he gets tired and all hell break loose: it's like he goes into overdrive. He has decided when he feels this way that chasing is great. Mannie is not convinced. Poor Mannie. I keep reminding DGS that even though they are best buds and share lots of things, running is not one of them. Mannie just turned to him, after a couple of runs down the hall, meowed rather loudly and went off to one of his hidey holes. :lol: :lol: :lol: This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club , AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, and Elsa too. I GIVE UP ON THE FEEDERS! ... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I hope to go today. We shall see if Mannie gives me a permission slip or not. I am hopefully off to the North cascades, one of the few places here in the state that isn't under the hazardous air quality warnings from all the wildfires burning in our state....

Hey everybody! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT on yesterday! The first ever LL Road Rally was such a huge success and we all made it to NYC, record time! What fun!!! Uhhhh.... we won't talk about the 3 chili dogs that Tess ate in 5 minutes. And Tobey!?!?! he ate even more! It was so cool to take the BMG to all those places and play live! The tourists even tipped us!!! :cool: :cool: I hope Rusty has something fun planned for today: eel fishing in the east river? Maybe the lions at the library, or ... I dunno! You guys all set? Back to the Big Apple!! ~ Mannie

Yo Mannie, it's a beautiful day here. Let's cruise around Manhattan on the Circle liner. Blue Mannie Group can play for the tourists as we go. Lunch (fresh fish that we catch) at the South St. Seaport. Let's have fun!

Hi Michelle, what a great day yesterday for Mannie and the Blue Mannie Group. Nice surprise visit, too, from Nicholas! Oh no, Mannie, you better find a good hidey spot from the little one when he gets an energy burst. :lol: I can picture DGS running around, as they have so much energy. Have a great hike, and it sure looks like a go from Mannie!

Mannie, what a great time in NYC and back we go again. Wow on those hot dogs with Tess and Tobes. Catching some fresh fish sounds great. See ya at the curb, Mags

Looks like yesterday was a nice day for Mannie. I don't know what's going on today, Mannie, but hope you've come down some! Glad Mannie has a hiding spot, bet he's glad, too!! :-D

345 @ PMPS, which really was +13. Hike was AWESOME! but the drive took way longer than I expected, had to cut the hike short, ran into AWFUL traffic on the way home: bottom line - one hour late for Mannie's shot. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ARRGGHHHH!!!!! I HARE THAT! oh well - he was pink, so no worries, and we will make up the time tomorrow... :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Ann, and Maggie - Yesterday was so nice for him, today was predictable: I knew he'd be up, but had hoped it would b e pink. bummer! Yes, the DGS running was funny, Mannie wasn't to sure about it all. And THX: hikes was rally good, Mannie for sure gave me permission.

Hi Deborah - I wish he had: kept on coming down... then again: I don't really know what he did- he may well have.... and that pmps is a reaction to that. Only Mannie knows, and he isn't talking... :lol: :lol:

HI Ann and Tess - a for sure! THX: the hike is truly the best. It is my all time fav spot to go - love it, but it is a longgggg drive, and a hard hike in spots. The rewards "up there" @ 6900 feet are so worth the effort. GORGEOUS!

Hi Liz - THx - I wish he did slide, better yet: wish I knew what he did all day. NO CLUE! :shock: And THX: hike was very good.

Hi Anne - Yeah on Nicholas making sure Mannie gets some exercise: that he can really use! Mannie has such a good day yesterday, today... well Maybe tonight!

Hi Carla - Yes on Mannie - me too! He's headed down already, so maybe he'll settle, into a nice surf before bed tonight. Paws crossed! i know too on Nicholas's energy bursts. so we had a heart to heart on that, Hopefully Mannie is ans intuitive as I think he is.... :-D

Sorry for the pink day, just as well you weren't around to observe it more closely. A perfect day for a pokie break. OK Mannie, can you work your way down slowly to some lovely blues like yesterday again?

I hadn't heard you were getting so many forest fires in Washington. I think we got off a little easier here, but the sky does seem a bit hazy. My DBIL is the provincial forest fire protection department so we usually get to hear about any interesting fires. I'm glad you managed to get away to a good spot, but YUCK on the Seattle traffic. I guess everyone else also wanted to get away to where the air was clear. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's pics.

Hi Wendy - me too on the pink.... bummer! And yes, there is a large part of me that is glad I missed most of it. :lol: :lol: If the pattern holds, tomorrow should be a blue day. WOO HOO!

Yupp, we seem to have our fair share of these forest fires. the one near Wenatchee is especially bad - evacs etc, very hazardous air etc. I so hope they get it under control soon..... It was a little hzy where I was today, but not as bad as alot of places. I think you could be right: where I headed is one of the few hiking spots that is clear. alot of them "over the hills" are closed, or one just does not want to hike with bad air, so they don't go..... just come to where I went. LOL: I was avoiding bad air too. :lol: :lol: Yupp: pics up tmorrow! It was GREAT place - my fav!!
