Good afternoon all,
Eventually, found out the insulin pen was no good, that explains why the BG jumped so high.
That pen was only opened on 8/13/13 and had 25% left,don't know why It suddenly loss all it potency. I actually took very good care of the pen but it still turn bad so easily.
Anyway, opened a new pen on 9/21, hope Jessica's BG level back on track.

i'm wondering what's making you think the insulin pen is no good. usually they'll last for several months.

one way to test it is to use your new pen for a few days, and if you don't see a significant change, it's likely your other pen is still ok. i've done that a couple of times when i suspected the current pen wasn't good. Each time I was surprised that there really wasn't any change and the original insulin was still ok. i hope that happens to you because they are certainly expensive enough!

i'm guessing you work during weekdays - good job getting a night time test! it's hard to manage this when you're gone all day.

I did change to a new pen and it did make a difference. Anyway, may be my original pack (5 pens) were not that good. I have 1 left and I will buy a new pack this Saturday just in case it goes all bad.
Jessica is back on track when you look at her BG chart.
Hope it will continue.
