Staying blue, which is alright by me. Nothing exciting to report. Still licking his chest. I was going to try getting some Tramadol in him this morning, but he was sleeping peacefully under the bed and I didn't want to make a big scene out of it. I will try at lunchtime.

They did an x-ray of his arms, I don't remember that the chest was in there?? We were focused on shoulders and arms - some of the chest had to be in the shot. I remember talking about his lil joints and how they had the very beginning stages of arthritis. I am suspect, however, that it could be something else, as the Adequan doesn't appear to be doing much of anything. He has 2 more "loading shots" of that stuff. I expected him to be bouncing around like a kitten again but maybe that's a false expectation. DH and I tried to get a Tramadol in him at lunch and failed miserably. I feel so bad. Something must still be bothering him. :YMSIGH:

I know I'm paranoid .... after watching so many others here at fdmb.
I just wonder if the chest licking is something growing. Everybody seems to find the ugly stuff when it's too late... and I always wonder about the early
stages where we catch things early enough to correct them.

I'm constantly feeling mine for lipoma's.... had one already/and removed but something under the ribs scares me of not catching it early enough.

I didn't get young behavior from the adequan.
But our numbers got better and I can tell she's not as achy.

I tried putting an inconspicuous ball of pill pocket in his lil nest of freeze fried chicken treats. He spit it out. :roll: Numbers are looking great! If I can catch him in a lazy, relaxed mood maybe we'll try again. He let me hold him for an inordinate amount of time earlier. He must forgive me cat_pet_icon
 
AHA! I did it! I pilled him by myself again! Wooo! I'm going to count that as a tiny victory, just for today. I hope it helps him feel better tonight.
