? 9/23/23 Lucy BG 106 help with test/shot

@tiffmaxee @Bron and Sheba (GA) Lucy is doing so well, tomorrow will be a full 14-days of no insulin! She is now on a Carb free diet. She has not shown interest in wet food so much but loves the Young Again Mature Zero Dry (zero carb). One issue with this is that the joint supplement of Dasuquin that I was giving her daily in a sprinkle capsule with her wet food is not working with the dry food situation. Dasuquin has a soft treat version of the capsule. My question is, the treat has 494 mg of carbs. This is just under 1/2 a gram of carbohydrate. I think, but not sure, that this would be fine especially if I gave it her spread out in the morning and evening? The Dasuquin really helped with a slight limp in her front leg, and now the limp is coming back. As always any insights and recommendations would be appreciated - thank you!

Thank you. I will give it a try. I’ve tried to give her some meal toppers from tiki. She just is not interested in it. Don’t know what’s going on with that. I will give it a try because it’s definitely helped her joints. Thank you so much for all your help!
 
Thank you so much. And thank you so much for all of your help from day one. I’m feeling so hopeful that just overall she’s going to be healthier and feeling better with this change in diet. I thought that I would continue to test her twice a day for the next two weeks so a full month, I’m going to get some baby food tomorrow and see what she thinks about that with the sprinkle supplement but I’ve also ordered the chews. I hope she likes those. I don’t know yet, but I’ll definitely be looking for any difference if I start with those. Thank you again.
