DH gave his first shot on Saturday night and wonder if that's reason behind the 394 amps reading Sunday morning (maybe a furshot?)
Overall Taffy is good and acting normal
(was finally able to get all the nails clipped
I was holding the tent while he stuck the needle in..but she wasn't stressed. She gets VERY excited about the food being put down so that may influence. But if that affects the numbers being high then she will always be high on a preshot test. The random tests between shots are lower but not as low as I would like to see. I think I was able to test her once w/o putting food down when I was learning and when she was relaxed and it was still a higher reading. I think I just have a high dose cat. Other than that would never guess anything was wrong with her. No excessive peeing (anymore). I am going to take her back for test Mid October. That will be 3 months from the last panel done. When she decides to pee up high on the box and the urine pools around the edges I have been testing for ketones and so far all have been negative. Not always sure how long its been sitting there though. Tried the other tricks of making a catch pan and of course she just pees around it. Apparently she doesn't like foreign objects in her box. She is so quiet when she goes in there and doesn't scratch afterwards so it's hard for me to remember to get in there and check. I need to start making a bathroom chart like they do in restaurants and check it ever hour or at least write down times I've checked it last to see what her bathroom break schedule is like.
This disease is making me crazy...feel like there is no control over it with this cat.
