Morning to you all! Nothing much new to report here. Horrible numbers, but tomorrow is the fll_moon and therefore, I am not going to do anything but wait it out. Let's talk about something else shall we?

Guess what you get in the morning when you are distracted while fixing the automatic brewing time on your coffee maker at night?
HOT WATER of course!! grr_red
I am not completely awake since I now have to wait for a new pot to brew. Guess I was interrupted last night and I forgot to put the coffee in it...sigh. I hate when that happens.
Decorating for the Harvest Moon Ball tonight if anyone wants to come over. Tomorrow is the big day...hope everyone knows about it ...I hope everyone comes....

No coffee in the morning :o That is no way to start the day, and Shadow's #'s didn't help I'm sure. I hope things start to improve.
I'm sure the full moon will bring better things.

SHADOW! No pinks there buddy - come on down. Mannie says to tell you he is on his way - wants to help decorate too, but you'll have to supervise. Cooking he can do, not the best decorator. :lol: In the meantime - back to the blues there, OK?

He'll be down soon, a guy can't show up at a black tie affair in pink!I know, I know. No coffee yet here either, I was going to go btb, but it's getting late and I probably should give up and go make some.

Shad-O , Raja, I've got the bonsai and am working on transport. I think Sknib and Mannie can stop by w/ the dune buggy. I hope so they're heavy. Can't wait for a good party! No pokes for a while. -- Tess

Good Morning, Pat. I hear ya on the coffee. I had to drive to the vet clinic on no coffee this morning. Long story involving a suspicious cat, locked in the bathroom. :lol:
You gotta get Shadow to help with decorations. Going up and down a ladder to hang crepe paper, will get those numbers down.
He's going to look sooo handsome in a yellow or blue suit at the ball.

No! Not you too! Don't go gentle into that Abyss of Pinkness! Well... I guess it's better than being nipped in the tail by a stray Hypo-potamus, but it's still a pretty crummy way to start the morning. Hopefully Shadow will be a good leader and show all the other kids how to execute a gentle decrescendo. (I know Rufus could use a lesson!)

No auto-coffee? I sympathize - woke up to no Kcups except for hot cocoa (who wants that when it's not winter?)My brother got Mom a Keurig coffee maker over the holidays last year - I recommend them wholeheartedly, BTW. Slip one of those puppies in there and you have coffee in less than a minute... that and you can have as many different kinds of coffee in the same day as you want with no need to waste (or drink, lol) a whole pot. AWESOME - especially when you're being circled by kitties, their eyes filled with intent to do mischief if they're not fed N-O-W.

Coffee is important, but never mess with breffis. :lol:

Oh Pat, the ~O) mishap could be worse....I had a co-worker once who poured the water in, put the coffee in the machine, set the auto-start and forgot to put the carafe back under the basket.... :oops: What a mess to wake up to! :shock: See, it could always be worse.... :lol:

Shadow, it's full moon tomorrow, so you know it's time to find those pretty blues again! Please come down as soon as you can, it would make your bean so happy!

How about having company sleepover, making what you thought was a pot of coffee, setting it on 1-4 cups(putting in enough water for 12 cups) and having the coffemaker

Hey Shad-0, Great idea about the quiche. That will be nice and high in calories and low in carbs. Tori will like that (and so will I, 'cause I need to gain some weight back, too). And YES on the Moon Pie with whipped cream, as long as it doesn't have sugar. We can also put whipped cream on lots of the dessert dishes, especially the catmint parfaits. I'll be along later to help decorate and to consult with the kitchen crew on the menu. Tell Raja to get out all the serving dishes: it's going to be a real banquet!

Hi Pat, At least your hot water didn't go all over the floor, like my coffee did when I forgot to empty the warming water out of the the carafe and brewed the coffee into the already full carafe! (I did that twice!!!). (We are all sleep deprived.)
Stu can't wait for the big party and will be over this evening to help with the decorations. Don't worry about Shadow's numbers too much. He likes to do this to keep your attention centered where it should be: on him!

~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Still haven't had mine yet. But I've done a similar thing as you Pat...I have a Keurig since DH doesn't drink it and I don't know how many times I've forgotten to put the K-cup in so when I need it most, all I have is hot water :lol: :lol:

Ok Shadow...it's a new day so you're gonna come down into the blues boy!! We're pulling for you.

Back at ya, Pat. At least Shadow's blip wasn't as high as Blackie's. ;-) Our boys will come down when they're ready and hopefully that will be soon. Blackie will be there to decorate and can't wait for the party.

Oh Pat, sorry about the coffee mishap this morning. My problem is sometimes my coffee doesn't go into the pot for some odd reason and I end up with coffee all over the kitchen and kittehs wondering what that brown liquid all over is :lol:

Hi Pat,

I need my coffee in the morning too. ~O) It makes a big difference. I'm taking a break from my packing and making sure the petsitter has everyting all layed out. Sara is going to miss the full moon party. :cry: She'll have to have twice as much fun next time.

Have a great day and weekend. Oh and talk about coffee. I have to get up at 1:30-2:00 tomorrow morning. :shock: I better make sure my coffee is made right.

My guys are already on thier way to the party! I know exactly what you mean about the coffee. I had a thermos coffee maschine with "drip stop" so when the can is removed the brewing coffee stays in the filter until you replace the can. Unfortunatly the filter part can't hold 2 litres of water so when I prepare the cofee and allow it to turn itself on before getting up in the morning and I forget to put the can in place I have a kitchen covered in brown water :roll: So I don't use the timer anymore, I still prepare the coffee the day before and I turn it on when I go to the kitchen. By the time the cats are fed I can pour the first cup.

Hi Pat. Try not to fuss the numbers. That's all they are. As long as Shadow is feeling good . Jojo told me that many many times. I think I'm finally catching on to that. I bet Shadow will be go busy getting ready for the ball tomorrow that he'll come down some for you.

Thanks for the reminderthat the full moon does cazy things to #'s. I think I'll go with that thought too.
Pedro is catching up on his beauty rest for the party but is verra excited to see Shad-o, Raja, and the rest of the gang.
