Yesterday was both a yellow and red start, each with blue in the middle.

Today was a boring red start, sliding down to low pink. There might have been a possible yellow, but I declared a pokie break. We finally get a nice low pink PS tonigh on this doset, and I do a fur shot. Argh! Good chance I'll get to sleep well tonight. Neko really doesn't like being red any more, and she was getting visibly more comfortable during the day, ending with quite a long time outside watching me do hedge trimming. We had a good combing session with the zoom groom and furminator and later got rid of a nasty knot on her tummy with the comb.

Don't you just hate those fur shots? I always want to pull my hair and scream. :lol:

Fur Shot? Argh! How did it happen? Neko struggled with his shots?

@Teresa - unfortunately I've done enough fur shots that I know we'll recover. :lol: I just hate having her in high numbers when she feels so uncomfortable there. Oh well, only another 10 hours to the next shot.

@Rhiannon - yup, the fur shot stinks, but it was the moisture that told me I did one. I didn't get all of Neko brushed, but a great start. I used to be able to comb her more, but since FD/acro she's been a bit crankier about that. And I've been soft on her. I have to keep combing her a couple of times a week to get her used to the notion.

@Helen - I try to move the spot for the shot around a bit and I was trying someplace a bit different near her shoulders. I think the needle went out the other side. Back to the usual spots next time. Neko never struggles against her shots - thank goodness.
