Starting the day at 178. We are currently under a flash flood warning due to TS Beta, so my school district has closed all campuses and support services for the day. Another day off for me! Of course I had already gotten dressed and made up, and made my lunch before I got the news. So now I’m back to leggings, make up is off, and a second cup of coffee is in hand.

Hoping to hear the results of Moe’s blood work and urinalysis today, and maybe pick up his adequan prescription.

Just talked to the vet. She said Moe’s bloodwork from yesterday looked very good. Only a couple of minor things to keep an eye on but nothing needs action right now. He’s got some protein in his urine (0.4 vs 0.3 last six months ago) and his kidney values are high normal, no real change from last visit (and actually better than they were in 2017). She will be emailing the report to me so I’ll update Moe’s spreadsheet with the new numbers.

Nice numbers today. :D

I'd keep an eye on the protein. Neko had proteinuria. It can be a sign of early kidney disease and not uncommon with acros. You do want the urine protein creatinine ratio to be under 0.5.

I hope the storm doesn't damage much.
