The Fun Never Ends at Tricia's House of Chaos

Thank you to everyone that stopped by yesterday's condo with more support and vines. Please keep them coming. :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Our internet (and landline) has been down since 4pm yesterday. The cable company stopped giving ETA on restoration of service at 10:30 last night. DH is convinced it's another terrorist attack. I'm just greatful we get our TV from satellite, so at least that isn't messed up. I'm using airtime on my tablet, so please forgive me if I don't do a lot of visiting today.

I didn't realized DH was going to start our new shot time this morning, and I was very lazy about getting up, so poor Cinco didn't get his second meal until +5 . Bad bean. Needless to say, he was very happy to get it, but I told him to get used to this - he'll be going much longer without food starting tomorrow.o_O I guess I need to stop whining about his numbers. Something like today would be just fine for his radiation days - no worries. You're right, @Vyktors Mum.

Minka's appy continues to be okay. Could be better, but could certainly be worse. She ate about 3/4 of her breakfast this morning, before her meds kicked in, and had about 1/3 of a jar of baby food during fluids. She is so cute the way she's gotten into that routine - she comes into the family room and gets up on the loveseat when it's about the time I usually do her squids, and when I walk in and see her she looks at me like, I'm here. Let's get this party started, Mama! Too adorable.

Sasha is holding true to form and ate part of her breakfast right off, saving the rest for later. Which reminds me that I haven't been up to check on her in a while.

Harvey tried to tell me he didn't care for this morning's entree, but it wasn't long until the hoover in him asserted itself. :p

Today is cool and breezy - just lovely. I think I'm going to tackle the litter boxes today, so I'd better get a move on.

I'll be back when I have internet service.

Surf safe, kitties! Just cause I is on shore, don't think I isn't payin' attention! - Cinco, Deputy LagoonMeister

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Marilyn & Polly, Deborah & Shasta, Carla & her civvie Baby, Wendy & civvie Theo, and Marje & Gracie. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF and DH, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM, and Elise's DM.

Well at least he got close enough to the lagoon today to feel the spray on his face!! ....or was that China splashing water on him?:oops::smuggrin:

I totally agree with you...these two are up to something with these crazy numbers....I guess it's up to us to put on our detective outfits and figure out what!

Glad to hear the girls appys are better at least!! Hope Sasha continues her pattern...at least if she does, you'll know she's eating, just in "lady-like" amounts at a time

Sending lots of calming vines for tomorrow's first vetty visit....We all know Cinco will do just great!! (and won't even consider that he won't!)

A pretty good all-around report! I love when kitties get into a routine and expect us to follow. Trix is the same way about fluids. We do them in the master bathroom, and when she's ready (she knows we do them shortly after DH gets home), she heads to our bedroom door and waits. Then, of course, we have a whole routine once we're in the bedroom, too....snuggles here, snuggles there, I get up to set the bag up, and she walks over to DH who carries her in. Funny kitties!

Prayers for a smooth day tomorrow!!

Those are nice numbers for Cinco today. Hopefully he'll continue them during his treatment. Sending prayers for tomorrow.

I'm glad Minka has a good appy today. How cute on the routine. I hope Sasha and Harvey continue to eat for you.

I hope you get your internet back soon.

Hey Tricia,
I hope you get your Internet back soon. But it sounds like the whole crew is coping just fine. Vines continuing to be sent.

Yo Deputy Cinco, We both have shore duty today, but those surfing kitties shouldn't be afraid: they know we've got our eyes (and ears, in your case) on them.

Tricia, it's crazy what's going on with Cinco. Yet, from my limited knowledge of lymphoma, it is usually systemic and why surgery for intestinal us to done unless there is an obstruction and why chemo works so well. That's why for many types chemo is given and extended for up to 18 months. So if I understand it correctly having it in another area would not be rare and would lead to radiation followed by chemo which I believe was one of their plans. It makes sense since B cell is usually large cell and most common in cats. So while it would be nice for there not to be another area with cancer, I don't think it makes things any worse at all other than a larger area needs treatment and a little more anesthesia. If my reasoning doesn't make sense, just ignore it. :bighug:

if it were a terrorist attack...
it would be affecting more than you.

I had no internet on sunday night so I know how annoying it is.

we don't need no stinkin' terror attack....

adding lots and lots of vines for all.....

Thanks for visiting us, Chris, Amy, Carla, Ella, Elise, Liz and Rhiannon.

Cinco's back to the flat yellow pattern. Bleah. He's got more energy tonight for some reason. He went walkabout around the dining area and kitchen. Hasn't done that in quite a while. Just wants to keep me guessing.

Minka ate almost all her dinner. She's currently curled up on her daddybean's lap, happy as a clam. Sasha ate about half her dinner. She eventually polished it off, as she did with her breakfast earlier. I just took her a snack, which she plowed through. :)

Nothing new to report on Harvey. Eating. Wanting more. Same old, same old.

The internet came on around 4 pm. I found out when I got a robocall on the landline. I tried getting online and it worked, and THEN I got the text that was to notify me that service had been restored.

@rhiannon and shadow (GA), there have been multiple terrorist attacks on communications lines in California in the past year. They don't show up in the media for several weeks, then it's a small article on page three or four. No word on whether it's domestic terrorism or something else. But it actually is happening. This had all the earmarks - no explanation or comments in the media, etc. Scary, but I'm just aggravated that they messed up my day!

Thinking of you and Cinco! Yellows are a bummer but it could always be worse. I hope after all the treatments it goes back to normal. ::hugs:: :bighug:
