Good evening! Miss Billie has been eating much better today, thank goodness, even with the Plavix back in the mix. She even ate cat food in addition to some plain chicken. So I'm very hopeful that the Plavix not the culprit that was making her feel nauseated. She also seems more like herself today. She jumped up all the way onto the bookshelf which I haven't seen her do all week. Now, my concern is that she might be constipated, because I haven't seen a BM from her since Tuesday. Maybe that's not unusual since she wasn't eating much Wednesday and yesterday, but I'll be helicoptering the litter box. I also remember ondansetron making her constipated once before, so that could have something to do with it. If nothing happens, we might be off to the vet tomorrow.
She has an appointment with a cardiologist next Thursday to look for any underlying heart issues that could have caused her stroke. The vet did an echocardiogram but recommended following up with a cardiologist. I feel bad dragging her out to be poked and prodded again, but I think it's important.
Both cats are resting comfortably and enjoying their evening

Billie continued to eat fairly well today, and we have poo x 2! So, I'm overjoyed! She seems to have developed an aversion to her fancy homemade EZcomplete with organic chicken thighs, but she ate some Fancy Feast, chicken, and some Evo dry mixed with water. And, DBF told me that he heard her "hunting" last night (part of her routine where she bats and chases her toys around shortly after we turn the lights out every night) and she hadn't done that since last weekend before she had the stroke. So, that's extra good news!!!
