Yeesh, I don't know what's been up with me yesterday morning and this morning. Both have been fur shots. :/ Tonight and tomorrow morning I'm going to take a step back, get myself calmer than I have been(what a stressful week it's been) and try and get her back on track. I also learned that my grandpa has been using just a bit too much blood when testing her, so I helped him with that.

Overall her numbers are confusing me a bit anyways though....some general help on what to do next would be appreciated.

It would help if you put an asterisk or something next to the dose on the days when you thought you gave a fur shot. I didn't see the notes at the bottom tied to any particular shot.

If you think you gave a fur shot, your cycle count starts over. Let's see how Tip responds once he gets the entire dose.

Alright, currently I can't change that, but I will when I get home. I'm probably entering comments wrong, because it used to work fine....hm.

Okay, I feel bad for the 2 fur-shots 2 days in a row. I'm thinking my stressful week might also be the reason why she's been a bit aggressive at shot time.

Well, drat on those fur shots! :-x They are annoying but they happen and Tip will recover. I know what you mean about the stress ratcheting up. Definitely try to get calm before shot time. Maybe try some deep breathing? And think what a wonderful kitty Tip is and how much you love her. And she is lucky to have such a great bean. And a great DGp. That is so cool that DGp is helping with testing. :-D

Yeah, I haven't tried deep breathing yet. But I did ask a friend for help and they recommended a catnip mat for her to roll on to help her relax, and while she's rolling on it I can take that time for some deep breathing. Since I got a nice paycheck, I'm thinking of(after I get the necessities of course!) buying that and some more toys for them.

I love her lots. :-D And I'm sure that even if she swipes at me during shot time for now, that she loves me too. I'm amazed she's even letting me do this. Just last year, she and I were hardly bonded because she only hung around my brother. He was hers. But now she acts up when I'm not around! I'm super grateful that my grandpa is able to do the testing for me. He knows how much I worry about her. :)

And how'd you guys guess she'd drop on the weekend? :lol: Don't worry, she got some fuds to get her to slow down a bit.

When Zener swipes at me, I call him Mr. Hyde. :lol: :lol: He really is amazingly patient with it all but sometimes it just gets to be a bit much. I can't blame him at all.

I often lean over on Shadow and pause when she is getting tense at shot time.
She doesn't like the ear warmer sock so I will try to gently breathe warm breath on her ear and scratch her chin.
And I tell her she's a good girl. I know you don't like this. But we are doing it.
And she seems to calm down enough to get it over with most days.

So maybe stop and give that feeling of love you have to quiet the moment for Tip.
Maybe it will help. It should make you feel better any way.

Sorry 'bout leaving, friends and I had an impromptu trip to walmart for smores stuff(I really need to keep stuff for that around!) and various cat stuff. I got to spoiling them a bit too much and came home with probably 4 more cat things than I was expecting. :lol: Even a little catnip thing to redirect Tip when she goes for me.

Definitely, I have plans on slowing down and showing her a bit of that feeling of love. I'm sure it'll make us both feel better.

I'm glad she slowed down a bit. :)

I hope so too. Though with the numbers tonight, it looks like the depot might not've emptied 100%, which is good.

We kind of did. Right when we started the fire, it started raining. So we came inside and used the gas stove. Close enough, right? :lol: They were still good, and the rain is super cold, so I'm probably going to be freezing tomorrow morning.

It's getting cold in OH? We are still warm with an Autumn sun here in Hongkong. Autumn canbe pretty hot oo :cool:
 
Yeah, it is. It's 55 degrees(Fahrenheit) here right now. Tomorrow's high is going to be ~65. Usually it's been maxing out at around 70 degrees in the middle of the day. Really not what I'm used to thanks to the summer!
