Just sharing that I gave him Baytril this morning instead of the Veraflox. The Veraflox just made his mood go right down, he had sometimes when he perked up a little but I think just the taste in the morning set us up for him not eating and increased his nausea. Without a vet to talk with I just made the decision my self. I lowered the dose slightly, this may be the wrong thing to do but I was looking for a way to give his stomach a better day. He seems stable today, doing all right, more bright and sociable. Not at the top of his game but at least not in a funk.
I really hate to make decisions like this one but sometimes you go with your gut feeling. He also got the appetite stimulant today, maybe his day overall will be better.
 
You are right...sometimes our gut has to guide us! I hope Shanti was feeling more like himself today with the change back to Baytril, and I hope he has eaten well. Have a great evening, Marlene!

Lovely blue for Shanti today! I see he had a bounce start but that's typical fore newly diagnosed cats.

I think you know him better than anyone and so you should go with your gut about the Veraflox.
