Ozy earned another reduction yesterday. Nice to have it happen in the daytime, especially because it took a while to raise his numbers. Sure is hard to stick to his diet when he goes low and needs to be fed. Still, I think the regular controlled food schedule is good and may be helping his glucose as well. He is getting fed every four hours, a total of about 8 oz over 24 hours. That is the amount/calories recommended from the Dr Lisa site.

He has been more willing to walk and is a little more graceful. His chiro appointment is today. He also seems more alert and a little more active. And he is purring more.

He had a little asthma attack today. First one since last fall. I did use a pill pocket yesterday to give him a bit of maple syrup. There are grains in pill pockets so maybe that caused it.

I'm just *squee*ing with delight to hear about Ozy's mobility and reduction.
Please give us an update about the chiropractic treatment.

I hope Ozy gives you a nice blue/green surf today. Sending good vetty vines for the chiropractor appointment.

Just back from the chiropractor. Ozy was treated with a lazer and got an adjustment with an activator. He was very good. And guess what? It was free. Our chiropractor doesn't charge for pets. We are taking him again next week.

Just an FYI -- there are allergy formula pill pockets. You need to find them in the dog section. They are a duck and pea formula and they don't contain corn syrup so are FD friendly!


INGREDIENTS: Roasted Duck and Pea: Rehydrated duck, glycerin, ground peas, natural flavors, pea protein, vegetable oil, sodium bisulfate, water, dried cultured skim milk, xanthan gum, smoke flavor, preserved with mixed tocopherols.

Ozy is walking so much better tonight. It is quite amazing. I think the chiropractic appointment REALLY helped him.

Oh, Ozy is like a new cat. He is social and engaged and moving around. He is hanging out with us tonight, and he hasn't done that in quite some time. He is in one of his "old"spots. Oh, I've missed him!
