One of the things that really causes cats to bounce hard is a fast drop. It's possible that Obie had a very fast drop and so his liver is in major panic. What to do about those fast drops? First, get the +2 test. See if it's going to be an active cycle. If it is, get another test sooner rather than later and control the drop with food.
