This morning was probably one of the roughest we’ve had in a while from a testing perspective. Moonie was feeling naughty and restless and couldn’t stop moving around, and for whatever reason, we couldn’t get blood out of her ears even with a lot of warming so we ended up poking her an ungodly number of times
She’s such a good girl though and let us keep poking her. She deserves all the freeze dried chicken today for being so brave and patient.
I think part of it is that we’re still dealing with scabs that were left by the sitters during our Ireland trip, and that limits our ability to go for certain spots that we know bleed well. But the good thing is that these are all problems that will definitely resolve with time. And I certainly can’t say that about all of my problems
Happy Monday everyone! Hopefully we got all the bad juju out of the way with our testing troubles this morning and the rest of the day will be smooth sailing

This was Moonie yesterday asking for belly rubs! She used to be really sensitive about her belly being touched - whether it was because of stomach discomfort or discomfort with us. But now she loves them

Ive had to poke Karamelle a bunch of times. Its usually when her ears are really cold, Blood just doesnt seem to flow very well. I dont warm them with anything usually, just use my fingers to rub the ears to get the blood flowing. It usually works.
