9/21 LOOSE LIPS: Back to the pool, back to the trails....

Good Morning LL!! (Ahhhhhh.... elixir! Thanks Elsa~), and Happy Caturday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug's new leaf continues!! Once again, on a Caturday, there has been no more sleeping in! So many Caturday's in a row!!! :shock: Paw Prints Pizza is open and ready for business! They are running a Caturday Catmint special today - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! I thinks they are trying to perfect their pies. After so many OTJ parties and moon parties I thinks they got it! SWEET, huh! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was so busy and so crazy, but we all had a great time. We actually ended up with a nice day here, 71 and sunny skies. We had to take advantage of that, as a storm, for us, came through here about 8/9 last night, lots of rainfall. We are due for a very wet few days, so when today ended up being sunny, well... we had to be out too, in addition to the pool. And we did! Here's what I wrote about yesterday in last night's post: "Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. The boys and I had a great one today. William stayed with his Grammie Connie, my DMIL, while Nicholas and I went to swim. She thoroughly enjoyed having William today, and really does well with him. I am so glad that this will work out, as it makes it easy for Nicholas and I to swim, and I don't have to worry about William while we do. What a relief! We had a good day in the pool today, with the energizer FISH. I had my swimmer back today, YaHOO!!! Whatever was bothering him last time seems to have passed. It was nice to see him into everything there was there to do today. and with smiles. funny - he still wants to watch the lessons, so we did that for a few minutes before he went into play. He is very observant, watching all. He tried several times to swim from one side to the other in the beach area pool, and was ecstatic when he made it. It is 100% doggie paddle, but the arms made it out of the water. ;-) I might make a swimmer out of him yet. Pool has been really quiet there this week, and last. Hooray for back to school. We have had, more or less, the bigger pool almost to ourselves. Well anyways - lots of swim stuff today. We did a little of the pool trail after that, maybe for 30 minutes, until he was out of steam, and wanted to go and get his brother. He sure is attached to William. Things were a nit rushed this morning to get all taken care of, kids fed, and out the door in order to make the pool time slot. The routines are finally settling alot more than last week. YAY! I think one of my fav times with the boys is breffis. I had William next to nicholas as Nicholas was devouring his waffles. Nicholas turns to William and says "No William! You can't have my waffles. You only get baby milk! so NO! Look over there. These are MY waffles!" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: More breffis....

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!! It is oddly quiet here this morning.... too quiet.... the calm before the storm? Lola is curled up on my lap as I type this condo. This seems to be her lap time, she comes very morning to sit on my lap while I am on the 'puter. Lola and Bug have this new game that they play. It involves my sofas. and claws. and pulling. One of them will start at one end, lay on their side, latch into the sofa with their claws and pull themselves along all the sofa base edges until they go all around the base. The other one latches on as soon as the other one gets going, and they play chase all around the bottoms of the sofas. They think it is great fun. :roll: :roll: I think "there goes the sofas!" :shock: :roll: You gotta love it. Elsa of course is nowhere to be found when all this is going on. Smart girl! ;-) Bug is such a laid back dude. I rally enjoy him, he reminds me alot of Mannie. His lap time is in the evenings, when I first sit down on the sofa to read or watch some TV. He just sits there and purrs and purrs. He will be a great lap warmer come winter. Elsa takes over later in the evening, and makes sure I go to bed when she thinks I should . :lol: Usually she is right!

Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. and recovery time.I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys for three days, but need some regroup time. :lol: :lol: So that shall be today. I will more than likely head on down to the shore and the woods later today for a walk.

Aww I love the specific lap times.
Civvie Smokey's lap time is evening; Ripley's is whenever I sit down; drooler Marley wants it to be 24/7, but he's 120 lbs :shock: :lol: .

Morning Josie Me too on the lap times. They all seem to want to share, so they've picked their times. Works foe me! I get lots of lap stuff then. LOL on Marley! 120???? uh no.... = squished lap. :lol: THX on today - we are off to a good start. I will pass on those scritches!

Hey Lil Bit Pit - It's good you have the bean trained. Now you just need to make sure she feeds you on time! My bean, sheesh after all this time, still doesn't understand the schedule. She even tries to pass off the old fuds as new! Just cause I can't see it, doesn't mean I can't smell that it's old!

So, I get her good, when she is sleeping, I sneak up on her and give a loud MEROW right in her face! Ha ha it's so funny, she jumps up and says I'm awake I'm awake. And when she tries to go back to sleep I MEROW again to let her know I am hungry! So what if it's the middle of the night! My tummy is hungry and I want fresh fuds!

I'm placing my pizza order early today. I want three pies, two for me and one for silly Buster.

When you're done your deliveries want to come over and scare the bean! It's lots of fun!

To funny on the couch thing :lol: Or not :roll: Hoot does the same thing when he wants attention :lol: I also think "There goes the couch" but then don't worry about it because the couch is old :lol: Big cat toy :lol: Same with the recliner. They LOVE the recliner. They will run and jump on it and spin and rock :lol: :lol: I often think, what am I going to do when I need new furniture. I will take all the cat toys away :lol: :lol:

Great to hear that everything is working out with the schedule for the boys. Connie must be a little bit of an energizer grammie herself. :lol: :lol: :lol: Tillie plays the sofa game but on the kitty furniture. :lol: Stay dry!

Sounds like all is well in the Great PNW! Tess does the pull around thing too, but uses the carpet. Definitely showing signs of wear! HaHa on Lola and the screens yesterday. You may need to get the heavy duty pet screens like we did.

I'm glad you've gotten the schedule worked out for the boys. It's good for Nicholas to have his own time, just you and him. Just like the kittehs and each having their own lap time!

Good Afternoon everyone! it is afternoon, isn't it? oh wait! 11:30, the still morning. OK, so here you go! ---->
let's see: shopping done, zip clean done (i.e. counters, human LB's, speed vac), laundry done. WOOT! and all by 11:30. SWEET! So I shall go play, aka shore/woods walk after all is updated here.

MAUI! YUPP! The bean is trained. well sorta. I so know on the fuds. She messes that one up all the time! And then she comes home late! Not good, ya know? I even printed out the schedule! a dozen time!! What is up with our beans,huh? Heehehee I wake up my bean too. it works! Just keep meowing... they always cave. Gotcha on the pies! I will ell lola and bug, they are busy with lots of pies, but I will get yours to be next in line.... :shock: I be rights over! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT PIT

Hi Pam A big affirmative on the sofas. Mine too is becoming one big cat toy. I've even tried those repellant sprays. Oh sure, as if they pay that any attention. Around they go anyways. :lol: OMG on your recliner. I have one, and am amazed that Lola has left it alone. :lol: Headed out the door in a few for that down time: off to the woods and the water.

Morning Carla I so agree: it is crazy what they think of. Nothing is off limits to the two young ones. :shock: :lol: I too am glad that they have found their own lap times. Yupp, as strange as it sounds I head on out through the woods and to the shore - it is my relaxation time. and unwind place.

Morning Liz Me too n the boys schedule. We are slowly getting there, which is a huge relief. Oh yes on GGMA Connie - she is a go-getter. She is also very good with babies. Good job Tillie! THX on the dry - so far that is looking good.

Morning Ann yupp! All IS well in the PNW. Things are coming together, hiking good, even with the weather changes. Oh too funny on Tess, and the carpet. Lola and Bug prefer the sofas, but I have seem Lola do that too with the carpets... that cat! Never a dull moment with her. I SO AGREE on the screens! She's only done it that one time, but wow.... something to watch and if it continues we will have to get the heavy duty ones. Elsa has destroyed over time the screen door for the slider. I so need to replace it. It seems that that screen is not sacred for Lola... and we have to keep the slider closed, as Lola has discovered that if she pulls hard where Elsa ripped she has freedom... She doesn't miss a thing. :lol: THX too on the pool schedule. Slowly that too is gelling. I think so too on Nicolas: he does better/best when that activity is reserved, for now, for him. Right you are!
