Cords surfed in the green all night long last night.. which made it a long, not-much-sleep kinda night for me. This morning he's the lowest he's been (87) when we've administered the .10 unit. He's relaxing and settling in for another day in the green (hopefully not too low). So far so good.

I just purchased a heap of strips (Bayer Contour) on ebay yesterday... 300 w/ lancets for $74 shipped... much better than the local Rite Aid deal of 100 w/o lancets for $135. :shock: Anyway, with this stock pile on the way I'm banking on it being the last purchase of its kind and that C goes OTJ in the near future. ;-)

Thanks Josie & Ripley! I noticed Ripley and Corduroy have some similarities; both similar age, both similar BG numbers (lately), we were tipped off by their water intake, and they are both BEAUTIFUL :!: I can't believe your vet recommended putting her down because she has diabetes!!! What tha' :?

Hi, it's Brigitte again!

Josie, I can't believe that your vet would even suggest to put her down for diabetes! That's terrible! I was reading her profile and you say that she had a concussion when she was a kitten because her balance wasn't quite up to par. Not that having a concussion is cute, but how endearing!She is such a cutie! Corduroy's balance has never been his strong point either ;-)

Corduroy is indeed looking mighty fine.
Keep in mind that remission means diet controlled, not cured.
There will be other strips in the future.... but may they be few.
