Hi guys .. checks has been having some nice numbers lately! I think you need some tie downs to get that cube tied to your couch .. of course, after you do all that work you know he isn't going to want anything to do with it, right? have a great weekend!

Barb, I thought I'd reply here to be sure you saw it. Here's the link for the Presto strips It's weird, it's about 60¢ cheaper to buy 200 strips and a meter than to get just 200 strips. I've gotten good deals on eBay too, right now I'm winning an auction on 500 strips. 4days to wait to see if I get them! nailbite_smile

Tess loves the freeze dried duck, chicken and turkey hearts from the same place as the duck breast treats. They don't crumble well though.

Ann, I'm gonna answer here and in your condo, in case you don't come back here.
Thank you so much for that Presto link. That's about what I pay...and sometimes a little more, at Amazon, for the strips alone.
Of course there's shipping to consider, but I'll check it all out later.

The freeze dried chicken I bought, doesn't crumble. I put it in the food processer...in fact, the machine gets hot, by the time it's a fine enough crumble/powder.

Wow, that's hard. The kind that PetSmart used  to carry was really easy to crumble. I've used an old coffee grinder that was cleaned out for herbs, now it is solely for Tess's use. I need it to grind up the supplements for her raw food and treats of course. coffee grinders have flatter blades and work better for hard things, I think the food processor's blades may be too high to get the small pieces. Unless, did you get just dried chicken instead of freeze dried? Like jerky?

ETA: If you spend $100 at that site the shipping is free, that would be 400 strips.

That number high from HC supper, duh. I had to go out, at his 9.5, and didn't know how long I'd be. I don't know what I was thinking.
Well yeah, I knew he would eat the hc, but wouldn't touch lc while I was out. I wanted him fed when I got home.
He had a nice blue day, with one dip of the toes, into the lagoon.

Hi Barb & Checkers, that's so cute how Checkers loves his cube, but your poor knees, ouch! Lots of good info in your condo on treats. I think Mags is due for a change.
