Yesterday's Condo

Managed to get all the insulin in tonight! Starting to lose all my confidence at shot time. Heart pounding again, like when I first started the shots. I think Charms BG numbers are high because of the two fur shots. The only thing that I can say is that I went to bed without worrying about a low number in the night. I needed a good nights sleep after the emotional week but I really really want to get Charms back on track. Charms is feeling good today, very charming as usual! - Sam

I suspect you are correct -- the higher numbers are due to the fur shots. Unfortunately, you need to wait this out. The "shot clock" starts over with a fur shot.

Thanks Sienne, I do get impatient, I am greedy for the greens for Charms. (but still scared of those low greens too!)
Will stick with this dose and take a deep breath at shot time.

I too did a furshot a few days ago, and was by turns annoyed and panicky. But you just wait, then shoot and Charms will catch up pretty quickly.
I got some great tips from Mariko, because of this, btw, and that is to go in quickly and inject, and then hold the needle in for a bit, and withdraw it slowly, with your finger still firmly holding the plunger, so that no insulin goes back into the syringe.
