9/21 Aurora Update

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't been around posting - I do still keep Aurora's SS updated as best I can, I usually write numbers down on a piece of paper and update the spreadsheet 1x per week. I just got so over whelmed updating the board multiple times a day, I had to drop off. Aurora is doing really well, she spent a ton of time in the greens - I took her for a dental over a month ago hoping that would really push her into remission but it didn't - she still stayed in the lagoon though. Her ear was bothering her and the vet suggested Claritin - I am giving her a 1/2 pill 1x per day and noticed her AMPS #'s are really shooting up today she was around 145 - could the Claritin have something to do with this? Also, I ordered a pen from Marks pharmacy - it's hard for me to get used to drawing up and NOT pushing back into the pen what I don't need. I gave Aurora .5 last night and this morning due to her increase in AMPS and PMPS #'s.
Otherwise, we're doing well! I try and read the board when I have time. I hope everyone is doing well!
 
I've never used Claritin but have used Zyrtec without issues except perhaps increased appetite. I gave Max 1/3-1/4 a regular strength twice a day. I'm glad all is well. There's no need to post multiple times a day. Post once a day, twice a day or whenever you need help. :)

Just glanced at her ss. Really beautiful. Remission still a real possibility.
 
Yeah, I was really pleased with all the greens for so long - I had high hopes for the dental since she had quite a bit of build up on her teeth after only 1 year between her last cleaning. Otherwise, she's such a happy kitty!
 
Maybe the ear bothering her is the reason for the numbers going up? Could there be an infection?
 
The vet looked last time and said it just looked red and suggested the Claritin. I did try playing doctor at home and used some tresederm many months ago and that drove up her numbers I didn't realize that had a steroid so next time if she dies need something I'll need something other than tresederm. Her PMPS tonight was 148 but +3 is now 91
I did increase her to .5 of a unit for the past 3 shots and that seems to be working better
