HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Thank you, to all who attended yesterday's/last night's jammy party; I'm still sweeping up the popcorn! :lol: And, for those who missed the fun, I posted the pretty colors above. After the excitement, we went with a shave from .6u to .5u. Hope he likes it better this time!

So far this morning, Hershey has been sleeping mostly...guess his little body is still trying to process going from (32) to PINK in 12 hours time. Poor little fella :sad:

When I saw that AMPS, I thought...hmmm...wonderful! Then, the shuttle took off!! :shock:

It's another beautiful morning here. 65 degrees heading for a high of 82 and lower humidity. YES! Still plodding along on the 'to-do' list - call from DSIL last night reminded me I haven't bought bday present for DFIL whose bday is Monday! :o

Hope y'all have a wonderful day...everyone feeling better than yesterday and kitties seeing lots of BLUE and GREEN!!

Morning Libby :-D :-D Oh wow on that bounce. One has to love those hard bounces. Mannie will do them sometimes too. Wonderful cycle last night, sorry I missed the PJ party.... zonked out early... Sure was alot of greens there! Good luck too with the reduction - I hope that Hershey likes it this time.

Hi guys .. sorry I missed the PJ party last night, sounds like it was quite the night .. and quite the bounce for sure! Hershey, how about coming back down .. but this time, take the scenic route, no hurry .. just make sure you end up there ok? Have a great weekend guys!

Hey, Michelle - I felt blind-sided by this bounce. We had decided to shoot .6u if PINK and delay the .5u shave until PM. But, he was BLUE, so we went with .5u. That +5 made wish we'd stayed with the .6u, hindsight and all that...I understand you zonking early, you had a full day! :-D Don't worry, there will be more jammy parties in the future!! :lol:

Hey, Devon - It was an eventful night, maybe Hershey needed the extra rest today. Seems to be taking his time coming down, but at least he IS coming down. See ya' at the next party! :-D

(+4.75) Home from a pancake fundraiser for the local little girl who has leukemia. LOTS of people! They had a bounce house, corn hole and a live band - seating inside and outside and a couple of times there were few seats to be had - WOOT!

He's not eating much today, at all! He has eaten a 1-1/2 meals and I've tossed 1-1/2 meals. He just doesn't seem hungry. Guess he's still recovering from last night. At least he's coming down...almost BLUE!

He sure is taking his own sweet time coming down! I've had a SICK headache all day that I can't quite shake. Maybe he's trying to be nice, so I don't have to worry about him...yeah...right...

Thanks, Lisa. Still battling the headache. I'm pretty certain it's coming from my neck. Had surgery on it 2008. It did stop that awful pain I was having, but it still acts up sometimes. :YMSIGH:

Rhiannon - I thought Hershey's was a bounce, but he's still all over the map. It's almost like he's not getting any insulin...ugh...

I told Hershey if we didn't see some better numbers by tomorrow, we're going back up. Then, got the PM +7 - clearly, he's not scared...

Using a warm pad or hot water bottle on your pain might help, Libby. The warmth will ease the tensed mussle thus makes the area less painful. Usually our stiff back & shoulder will cause nect pain.

Come down Hershey! You dont like the weather change? I guessed that! Come down into the blue.

Hey, Carl - paha, not your fault. Thanks for asking about Ginnie.I haven't heard from her today, hated to call her every day. I remember those last days and everybody calling every day. :roll: Besides, I had hoped to get THE CALL today! This morning, a phone call woke us up and we just KNEW it was her. Nope. Doug's supervisor calling from the mtns to cover something at work. Not like it was Doug's day off or anything. He's off (for sure) tomorrow, so maybe tomorrow?? Nah - he'll wait until everybody lets their guard down and goes back to work, etc. :-D

I hate seeing Hershey staying in those numbers so long. This cycle has really puzzled me. Well, at least maybe I can get a little sleep...or maybe I'll be awake trying to figure out what went wrong...

Running late and going to be gone much of the day (church, then celebrating DFIL & DSIL bdays) so just using the same condo. Sorry.

I don't know if this (201) is Hershey showing us something - like he might decide to like .5u - or showing us something - like I did something he didn't like last cycle, maybe location of shot? That's the only other thing I hadn't thought about earlier...

Anyhoo - same 3 options remain:

- Start new pen
- Back to .6u
- Start new pen AND back to .6u

Morning Libby - wishing you a fun filled Sunday. :-D It sounds like a busy one, but good.

Bummer on that amps, nice recovery though with that +4.25. Looks promising. If not, maybe back to the .6 dose. How old is your pen? Good luck with your decision. It could be too that hershey is just bouncing... Sometimes they do take forever to clear them.

Hi Libby,
I'd give it another day. This is cycle #5 on this dose, and this cycle looks better. If you think it's your pen, I would switch that before increasing, just in case this pen is the issue.

Hey, Michelle - Yes, that AMPS put a damper on my morning. :sad: I don't know what to think...don't know why he's hanging on to this bounce longer than usual and he's not forthcoming with the details...This is the last of the first pen, started 6/13. Thanks, it was a good day. Sermon stepped on our toes and was about being passive. Our marine niece and her sister from the mtns were able to join us for lunch, so that was a nice surprise. Missed the ones that couldn't be there, but it does get more difficult as they grow up...

Hey, Carl - Thanks. Yes, this cycle does look better. I don't know if he's clearing the bounce or just toying with me...

Just spoke to Ginnie. No contractions today. This respiratory crud has about gotten the best of her and she's swelling more. I hope the doctor pays attention to it tomorrow. She said someone asked if she had told him she was ready to be born. She said...uhm...no...They asked why not?! I told her that might be what he's waiting for! She said she was going to wait for DSIL to get home, just in case that IS what he's waiting for! :lol:

I think this morning's number was bounce related, and that his PMPS says "bounce cleared, Mom". I think he might like the dose after all!
