? 9/20 Zappa AMPS/331 +2/206 +4/62

Yikes!

I’m doing a curve on Zappa today and am pretty surprised to see this +4 number. He is getting 2 units of Lantus. He just had a meal (KOHA duck and Rawz mixed).

I want to be sure that 62 doesn’t go lower. I immediately retested him and it was 59. How long does it take for his food to kick in? Any other suggestions?

I am so glad I did this curve today!! I rarely check +4

The food will kick in in about 20-30 minutes. Test again in 20-30 after eating.

@tiffmaxee - he came up to 76. I’ll continue the curve schedule. But wow - he is all over the place today.

I’m assuming he earned a decrease. Can you please advise if I should decrease PMPS today and by how much? Thank you!

Yes. Under 90 so decrease with next shot.

Yes. Then you hold that dose for 7 days unless he drops under 90. If he does you reduce again. Congrats.
