Ya know Brent, I gotta say, ,I think upping the Lantus by 1u every 4 cycles is just plain too fast.

The way I see it , regardless of if your cat is Acro, IAA , Acro/IAA combo or just plain garden variety FD, Lantus is Lantus is Lantus and a dose needs time to settle in - a chance to show what/if it will have any action.

When I look at Tiggers ss I see him trapped in an upwardly spiraling endless loop of NDW .

Well, i'd agree with ya but I got the exact same cycle of results going up .5u every 6-8 doses.

What is known is an initial drop happens, then right back up to the upper 300s to 400s. I need to try something different since that wasn't working.

I have introduced the R and that might be helping but may need a larger dose.
 
From what I hear Acro can be painful, and pain can drive up the numbers as well. I wish he could talk so he could help me out here.

Going to make a Vet apt to discuss pain meds to see if that helps things out.

Hi guys .. I don't have any advice on dosing .. But I sure do hope tigger finds his magical dose soon and can level out for you .. maybe pain meds would be a start .. have a great day guys!
