A couple of options for you. Option 1 - 7 days in primarily greens earns you a reduciton and I'd call this day 4. :D

Option 2 - since Scooter is what we'd call a high dose kitty (but not tested so we don't know for sure), it's possible that staying solidly in green isn't doing anything to heal his pancreas. In that case, you could take his dose down, say 0.5 units, just so you get a bit more sleep. Having a goal of all under renal threshold is still a good goal and is what I used, since Neko's pancreas wasn't healing from the green. It already worked but her secondary conditions are what caused the diabetes. I would often "temporarily" reduce the dose to get some sleep, and often that became the new dose. Gotta take care of you so you can take care of Scooter.:bighug:

I think I will go with option 1 for now and see if he is healing. I should be able to get in a nap or two this weekend to catch up on sleep. Sunday would be day 7, so if he stays low I would reduce Monday AM and start next week on a lower dose and possibly more sleep.:) Thanks Wendy!
