Ripley is doing great today .
Pee, poo, foodslurp, squawk, preen, squawk, slurp.
She had a great day yesterday, too, so whatever it was that was bothering her last night is no more .
DH was in charge of taking care of her last night while I was at my school's Open House ~ he said all went well, but Ripley was not too happy when he inserted the fluids needle; thankfully, she had a good appy at the time and he was able to distract her by crushing her beloved shrimp treats over her food (that always grabs her attention!).

Thanks so much for the visit last night, Marje, and the Terumo drops/mm info.

As I posted yesterday, I found out from the manufacturer of Lantus Solostar pens, that the coupon card only applies to people ~ so Target is my next stop, to get a single pen (hopefully today). Costco still has the best price in town for the 5-pack of pens, though. Start your hat modeling career, Ripples, so you can help out! :lol: :lol: :lol:

YAY for DH too - it's great all went well for him. It is so nice that you have someone to help out with Ripley's care.

OOOO! A potential modeling career for ripples. :lol: :lol: Go for it Ripley - us beans love it when out kitties step up to the plate. :lol: :lol: It is a bummer though that the coupon code only applies to humans. Unfortunate really, as what difference does it make, who is using the insulin? Good luck with Target - hope they will sell single pens.

Nice numbers for Ripley. It's good to hear she's doing her normal stuff. That's a shame they say the coupon can't be used for cats.

Funny you should mention this...I just used the coupon for the first time today, with no problems at all! I do get my single pens at my local Target pharmacy, and the pharmacist there is way cool. He didn't even bat an eye that the script was for a cat...he just entered the info, and gave me my $25 juice...that's $40 less than I had been paying! I hope you were successful with your Target!!

Our pharmacy didn't care it was for a cat either. It's a hospital pharmacy. On the other hand, don't tell them it's for a cat. ;-) I'm glad Rips is feeling better!!
