Patience pays off!

Just a suggestion but when he’s due to clear a bounce, why not do a +2 so you can slow the drop early? When they drop fast, they bounce harder. If you manage his curve with food to flatten it out a bit, he won’t drop so far; the nadir will come up a bit and he won’t bounce as hard.

Since he's been on Levemir he doesn't do much at +2 or even +3 Sometimes bg is even higher? That's why I usually check at 4 or 5. But you're right I do want to slow the drop so I will check at +2 .

When his bg is low he's not too interested in food He barely ate this morning. (probably still full from last night,he was very hungry)
Once again I was not expecting him to drop as low as he did. At +4 he was at 184 I wanted to see if he would go into green If I fed him then he probably wouldn't have, right?

Thanks for checking on us :)

I just went to his SS when I scroll down the bar at the top with the +1 +2 etc doesn't follow down? I just checked & it's working now??

But this was a bounce clearing cycle....not a normal cycle.

I don’t know if he would have gone into green if you fed him or not. I don’t know how carb sensitive he is and there isn’t enough information in feeding on his SS for me to tell. Each CG needs to experiment with foods to determine what works and what doesn’t work for different scenarios.
