Sending mega vines to you and Max..hoping the Betty visit goes well and that max rounds the corner soon...more huge vines and hugs..will keep them coming today for you...:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hugs and prayers. I know allergies are bad for humans right now, so hopefully that's what it is for Max, too. FWIW, I often had to adjust GA civvie Mario's amlodipine up and down and back up and back down...he did do OK with the changes. Trix's BP has been stable so fortunately I haven't had to mess with her dose for quite some time.

Vetty vines coming, too!!

We are back. My vet is the best. He spent at least 45 minutes with me. We tested using both machines and both cuffs. He thinks Max is between sizes. We got readings from 164-198. He says its higher than he's like but if it stays this way it's actually better for his kidneys at this point because too low BP can restrict blood flow to them. His eyes look good. He doesn't want me to treat the sneezing unless he gets a discharge. So now we wait until the labs return.

I'm not going to try to measure the BP myself today. Max is so calm I think I will be able to do it. If anyone wants to buy their own equipment I know what to do. I spent $390. I'm not counting the two cuffs I might never use. I might sell one at some point as its in the original sealed bag. Tge other I opened and it's tge smaller size so I'll keep it in case I want to try it. If I bought it all from the manufacturer it would have cost $916 plus tax.

allergies are heading upward right now.... everywhere.....

especially ragweed..... and it will keep going up until the first hard freeze.....

you could get daily alerts when it's high from pollen.com for your zip code.....

you might find a correlation.

That does sound like a good vet visit, especially spending 45 minutes with you. I look forward to reading what the difference is in blood pressures at home. Are you cuffing a paw?

Paws crossed the sniffles go away with the winds.

Yes I'm cuffing a front paw.

I want to see the labs to make sure he hadn't slipped. I feel like he has. Prove me wrong Max.
