Yesterday-Another moonlight surfing session!

Wish I could get her to do her surfing during the day. It looks like DH was up really late last night watching Luci while she was wobbling around on her surfboard! She got a bit intense there around 3+,4+

I see the Lantus is still working (it's 9 months old) I was starting to wonder if it wasn't effective any longer - has never been out of the fridge for more than a few minutes at a time - never allowed to warm up...guess it's still working. Getting ready to switch to a Lantus pen as soon as this vial is depleted...or she fails to respond at all...
 
Nice surfing last night. I hope Luci comes back down soon. When Furball first started on insulin I used a vial. I used it to the last drop. If you take care of it, it last a long time.
 
Luci had some great #'s last night! You're so lucky she doesn't bounce to the moon like Ravan. ( Ugly black #'s :arghh: )

He was doing much better on Levemir but he had a terrible bounce for 2 1/2 days & dropped last night . Now I'm waiting for another bounce :nailbiting:
 
Can't get much flatter than that! I'd suggest that DH get some good coffee and chocolate ready for tonight.;)

One thought based on last night. It looks like the MC killed some of Luci's duration - hence the pink this AM. Giving higher carbs, later in the cycle after nadir can stop the insulin action. Once she'd popped up to 77 at +5, I would have given LC to see if she could surf.

I agree 100%...but unless I want him to get me out of bed ... ???.... he's in the driver's seat... I can make that suggestion..but I think by the time she hit that 77 he wanted to go to bed...that was 12:30 a.m. our time...I think he was getting pretty tired...I wasn't up...and didn't much want to get up...so I'm not sure how much of a stink to make about it...and yes, I agree...she's got herself into some kind of rhythm now...languish all day..and party all night - and keeping her dad up to watch her...:eek:

I'll have to leave him something special out on the counter...oh, wait...can't do that...Luci would eat it!:arghh: Especially anything chocolate...hmmm...maybe I'll leave a note for him on a cupboard - here's emergency chocolate if you need it after midnight - no MC for her once she rounds the corner...but I've also warned him...that MC food can sometimes only last for an hour or so...and if she goes down again...you've got to watch her and act accordingly...not to disparage men at all...but he's doing his best staying up late...and would just as soon let her surf around here by herself...or tell me to set an alarm because she needs to be tested in an hour... oh boy :nailbiting:
