Hello. I feel 1.25 is not the correct dose for Kirby. Though, I’m trying to hold for 7 days. It’s almost 4 days.
 
Maybe. You had a skipped dose and a l unit shot prior so I'd wait out the 7 days if you continue with SLGS. The depot needed to build. You are seeing blues so not so bad.
 
9/16, 17 and 19 are blank....what happened there at AMPS? If no shot, please fill in the blank with NS.

Please try to get a 3+, 4+ or 5+ tonight and let's see what's happening with this dose closer to mid-cycle.

You need to hold this dose for 3 more days on SLGS unless you can test more and there's no dry food on the menu - which would mean you could go to TR and change the dose more frequently.

What happened is he got a shot and I took only a + 10 or a + 11 on his pm dose those days. My cat is moody and only goes for so much. I am not serving him dry food went to only wet. Although his begging all day is tough.

Ok. I’m going to hold. I can do a curve Wednesday as I’m home from work. I will keep you posted. I just felt like he was coasting in the low 200 s a lot. Ty.

Why is he begging??? Is he getting regular small feeding of low carb throughout the day?

Maybe he needs a bit more in his dish....

I was thinking maybe I could give a little dr elsey dry food along with his regular amount of wet food. but I don’t think it’s wise while I’m trying to find a dose for him now. Maybe I’ll wait on that idea.

Then I’d probably allow him to have more food..

Nothing is more miserable than being hungry...

Sometimes cats with diabetes aren’t processing their food well and eat and eat and never gain weight because the nutrients aren’t being absorbed...

Id try more food and keep an eye on his weight...

I think He filled out a little since feeding him fancy feast.
 
That’s a nice safe number. Will you be home to monitor? Your. spreadsheet needs to be updated. Did you shoot? If not did you feed?
