(Xander is also a "do not have a complete thought" lap cat. And same when I give him an injection - no matter where they are in the house, my partner can't think too hard or Xander will nope out based on vibes, apparently.)

Aweee thanks so much, Brianna. It is truly amazing how they pick up context clues. Even Bell is not as sharp as Blair (who seems more similar to your Xander). She is a mind reader when it comes to me getting her to the vet or grabbing her for medication. I honestly don't know how she differentiates a normal petting session from a trick petting session straight into the carrier. It is wild to me.

It is very sweet that you are Xander's "chosen one"

They really do just pick up on... something. Intent. It's uncanny. And often inconvenient lol
