A Touch of Blue

Retirement feels real now that school has started back and the night duty bean has not. Zener and Tillie are enjoying having the door open lots more!

I'm more than halfway recovered from the jet lag now. :razz:

Zener had a touch of blue yesterday but has been pretty flat (if such a thing exists) in the pinks and yellows. With a bit more appy recently, we opted to fattened up his dose by two drops to see if we can get more consistent healthy numbers. He ate quite a lot last night and had the crampy, bloaty tummy this morning. MamaLizBean did the massage magic and about +4, appy picked back up. He's had a couple of yard patrols, and naps inside in his sun corner with his head on his favorite catnip boomerang, shark, and nanner. Right now he is napping in the ground floor cubby hole of his condo.

Morning poo patrol did not spot any action but Chief Inspector Crapdash managed to find some evidence on the bottom of her shoe. Ahem. :roll:

Tomorrow afternoon Z goes to see his favorite Dr M, Captain of Team Zener, for his regular "expression" procedure. He is such a trooper about everything. cat_pet_icon

Hi Anne. It always takes me days to get back from jet lag coming from the other way (from California to New Jersey). I tend to stay up too late when I come home.

I hate it when I smell something and look around and then at the bottom of my shoe

Hmmm. Sounds like Chief Inspector Crapdash needs to spend a little more time looking down as she makes her rounds! :lol:

I'm pretty lucky when it comes to jet lag - I'm generally over it within 24 hours. DH deals with it by sleeping more. I deal with it by staying awake more. His way is probably healthier! :roll:

Glad to hear the appy is still good on the Pred. I hope the dosecrease brings those numbers down to something a little happier.

YAY! Appy is better! that is so great. Good luck too with the new dose, I hope it will bring things down some with Zener. it's so hard to know on dosing when the appy is so off. Mannie as like that for a while too. I had such a horrid time knowing what I could safely give him, as at that time, food was his worst enemy, in his opinion. I'm glad that Zener had changed his opinion!
