Re: 9/2 Tigger AMPS 324

Didn't learn a ton this trip to Mayo, alot is going to weigh in on Oct 7th when I meet with the sleep specialists.
Ear/Nose/Throat specialist checked me out and I have some residual issues from this Actinomycosis infection/Surgery I had as a kid. They had to take lumps out of my throat and they had to go through a lot of stuff to get them, including half my saliva glands and there is scar tissue from that but nothing that can be done for it. But, my ears don't drain well on the left side due to it and could lead to the ear infections. Also have a deviated septum I guess and probably need that fixed with surgery.

Talked alot about the Adrenals and the fact that I cannot have Prednisone going forward unless its a dire emergency. Everyime I take that (8+ tiimes over the last 5 years for disc issues) my adrenals quit working. When the Adrenals sense high levels of Cortisol in the system (Prednisone) they get lazy and shut off and the prednisone stays in your system for 6 months.

Actually discussed Tigger too. He did not rule out environmental factors but its really hard to figure out what the factor could be. He added it to my Notes. Mayo actually has a subdivision for animals like they do humans. I didn't know that, but I guess its huge too. Now, how to drug Tigger for the trip down there. LOL

Friday nights are rough, have no juice left. So if you guys don't see me posting hourly, throw something at me to wake me up

Good luck on the dosecrease. That is very interesting about Mayo having an animal division....wow. Now if they just had more Mayos!!

Sounds like you just gotta learn to sleep with your phone in your hand set to your wake up time!!

Yeah, heard it was huge, like Mayo itself and they do Vetinary stuff and research, but didn't see it. But I've been there 5 times now and probably saw 5% of the place!
But tried doing some research but haven't found anything online for it.
