Rusty has a toe in the lagoon this morning. I suspect that his AMPS is owing to the fact that he only ate about half of his nighttime food. We have warm, muggy weather and that is always tough on him. Tomorrow we'll be going down to camp for a few days to be closer to the start of the 90 Miler Canoe Race (we will be pit crewing on Friday for our friend, who will be racing; we have to scurry to get to the carries ahead of him to replenish his water bottles and power bars. It's a fun day for us and a tough day for the paddlers: 32 miles with about 3 miles of portages over all. I hope we will have good weather.)

Keeping J.D. in our thoughts today. Good vetty vines for him. Continuing to send healing vines to all in need.

Re: 9/2 Rusty AMPS 101

Well, it's a nice number to start the cycle, paws crossed Rusty's appy picks up.
Yo, Rusty. I's hear you is going to camp again. My mousie supply has dwindled, need some help? -Tillie

Best wishes to your canoeing friend and to the pit crew. I'm sure Rusty would help with the portages!

Re: 9/2 Rusty AMPS 101

Nice start for Rusty today. I hope he's surfing safely for you. The canoe race sounds exciting.

Re: 9/2 Rusty AMPS 101

Hi Ella ~O) :-D

what an awesome start for Rusty today. I do think that amps is more green than it is blue. You surf well today Rusty! Good weather to you too, so that teh good appy will follow.

Good luck to your friend, and his race. I hope all goes well for him. That race alwyas sounds like such a challenge, what with the portages and all. My DS DGF Father is also a paddler two man boat, and recently raced the Missouri 340. I can't imagine what it takes to race such a distance and not rest... 340 miles, crazy! But... they won! Some photos of the race: 2014 photos Their boat was called the Pineapple Express, race course completed in just over 39 hours. Enjoy the time spent helping your friend. I hope he does well.

and Rusty - Enjoy camp! Paw Prints Pizza is trying to come up with a mousie pizza....

Have a great day Ella, I hope all goes (or went) well!

Re: 9/2 Rusty AMPS 101, +5.5 114, PMPS 77

Hi again,
Rusty had a low key day without much appetite. But he did eat. It's cooler now (but raining and very humid) and he is waiting on the couch for us to sit with him while he finishes his dinner.

We had a "rest day" today. I was more tired than I thought and fell asleep this afternoon for about 3 hours, missing Rusty's +9 test. Tomorrow we head to camp in the late morning.

Yo Kitties, Yep, we're heading to the home of the mice. All invited to go hunting with me. Especially you, Tillie! And the Paw Prints Pizzas, Tobey's cimmamum cookies, and Elsa's ~O) (for the beans) will be enjoyed.
See you tomorrow afternoon.
~ Rusty

Michelle, those are neat pics of the Missouri 340. That sounds like a real challenge. I'll bet those paddlers would have liked to have a few portages so that they could use different muscles and get out of their boats! So far the weather for Friday is iffy.

Hope all is well in LL. To visit some condos now.
