Happy Sunday evening...another late day for me. Sending special thoughts and healing vines to all who need them.

Gracie was hysterically funny this morning jumping in and out of the covers after shot and breffis. I made mounds of the covers on the bed and she'd hide behind them and then pop out at me. Her numbers today are perplexing and I hope hope hope that her climb at +9 is more of an inverted curve or some blip than her pancreatitis. Still watching her.....she is getting tired of me hovering, checking her urine again, etc. She's till a member of the CPC and has all 5Ps again today. She's chatty and happy and exceptionally purry. Only two more days of nailbite_smile until I can take her for the U/S.

Thank you all who dropped by last night. (((MJ))) thanks for the chart....it doesn't look that bad!! Still hoping for more blue/green and less yellow one of these months.

Loved the ideas for the liquid diet and thank you, Rhiannon, for the milkshake recipe and also Barb for the offer of the acid free diet. Since they have ruled out the ulcer, I don't have to worry about acid foods so I can have chocolate but I have been avoiding ~O) ~O)   BUT...all of your wonderful ideas gave me one last night and so I ran out to Starbucks and got a fat free chocolate smoothie...220 calories...nom nom. And today I thought about Jamba Juice so I went there and got two totally fruit smoothies (the light ones with just fruit and juice) with energy and immune boosters....no protein powder. Also nom nom and I have one in the freezer for dinner.

Today was a very good day.....in fact, I thought I better take advantage of it to catch up on Mom's and our bills and financial accounting. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile it took most of the day but now I am finished...I was over two weeks behind. Mike will be home early tonight and I'm looking forward to it.

Big hugs and thanks again for all your support and well wishes.

Hey, Marje -

I'm way behind, as usual, and playing catch-up. I hope you get to feeling better SOON and these 2 days go by quickly so Gracie can have her U/S!

Sweet Dreams -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Aww. You just reminded me I need to do bills and balance the checkbook.
I was enjoying my forgetting.

Glad you found things to drink!! They even sell bags of fruit in the frozen section now (with all the frozen pies and fruit)
and you can make smoothies at home that way too.
Helpful if you don't want to cut up a lot of different fruits.

Gracie sounds purrfectly fine. Hope it turns out that she is.
Hope you feel better soon.

I'm glad you are feeling better and that the no acid food ban is lifted, that opens up a lot of possibilities. You have Trader Joe's , right? They have a 4 pack of yogurt strawberry smoothies in the dairy section. Very good and easy to keep on hand.

WOO HOO on the feeling better - the items on today's menu sound good. YUM!

Not too bad of a cycle for Gracie today - Getting closer to the greens. Sounds like Gracie is feeling good. :-D

Nerve wracking to wait for those U/S's isn't it. I had to wait three weeks for Mannie's. Ugh, hard to keep it on the back burner. I hope Gracie's goes well, that nothing shows that will be a concern.

Marje, Glad you are feeling better and Gracie is 5P and full of energy! Loving head butting is clever way to delay ear pokes, not telling Jasper about that  . Hope you both have a great evening!

Your menu does sound tasty. I make smoothies every day for lunch. I usually add ground flax (for Omega 3), fiber and protein (if I have it). I buy the frozen fruit or sometimes canned (in juice) and freeze it myself. It's a lot cheaper than the prepackaged smoothies, unless you need the convenience. I have discovered that I don't tolerate strawberries as well as I used to and my (older) sister said 'at my age' I needed to watch my bananas, too.
