Okay. She is responding to the lantus though. But the bigger shots can sting. I don't know if she's responding as if it stings.

That's great. I'm a big fan of Levemir because its been successful for Beenie. I wish you best of luck on the new insulin. Can't wait to see how Amethyst does. Make sure you post here for dose advice. Most reduce the dose when switching from Lantus to Levemir. The experienced folks will guide you, just ask

Good luck! I'll be switching Chino to Levemir in a few weeks when we run out of Lantus. I hope Amethyst does better with Levemir.
