A lot of 9s in Rusty's subject line today. Wonder what that portends?
It was colder and very windy and rainy last night: the windows and porch doors rattled all night. But Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food, but some may have been eaten just before we got up and may have influenced his AMPS number. In any event, he was raring to go this morning and bounded down the stairs. We had a pretty good test (hopefully he'll come down now), good breakfast of a combo platter of Wellness Turkey and Chicken, and a shot that started out good, but Rusty twisted mid way through my count of 10 and the needle came out. I think he got all, or at least all but a drop, of the insulin. Edward smelled slight Lev. smell, but I didn't.
After that tremendous storm we are expected to have much colder weather for a few days. No more canoeing this week for us: we head to NYC on Friday. We have tickets for Philip Glass's opera "Einstein on the Beach" at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Sunday. Rusty is already making plans to have fun with his friends--Central Park, the fish market, the library, the museums.
Everyone have a good day today. Lots of healing vines to all kitties and beans who need some,
