A lot of 9s in Rusty's subject line today. Wonder what that portends?

It was colder and very windy and rainy last night: the windows and porch doors rattled all night. But Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food, but some may have been eaten just before we got up and may have influenced his AMPS number. In any event, he was raring to go this morning and bounded down the stairs. We had a pretty good test (hopefully he'll come down now), good breakfast of a combo platter of Wellness Turkey and Chicken, and a shot that started out good, but Rusty twisted mid way through my count of 10 and the needle came out. I think he got all, or at least all but a drop, of the insulin. Edward smelled slight Lev. smell, but I didn't.

After that tremendous storm we are expected to have much colder weather for a few days. No more canoeing this week for us: we head to NYC on Friday. We have tickets for Philip Glass's opera "Einstein on the Beach" at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Sunday. Rusty is already making plans to have fun with his friends--Central Park, the fish market, the library, the museums.

Everyone have a good day today. Lots of healing vines to all kitties and beans who need some,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

Our boys are blue this AM! Must be fun tings going on in the Blue Grotto. Here's hoping that they both can find the greens today, maybe dip their paws in the waters.

WOW on your weather! A tad bit stormy... I feel guilty: we are still sunny, and 70. no winds, no rains, no nothing but sunshine.

Your NYC trip sounds wonderful - lots to look forward too. Mannie is all packed, ready for a fun weekend in the big city. :-D

Enjoy your day today!

Hi Ella, I saw the weather channel and the cold and storms expectted, brrrr! Your weekend coming up sounds exciting. Thanks for the beautiful bouguet of vines, the help and links in Maggie's condo. I went ahead and ordered her book thru Tanya's site. I thought it would be so nice to have it in hand rather than sitting at the computer. Have a nice day and enjoy your car, too.

Re: 9/19 Rusty AMPS 199

Hey, Ella -

I think blue was the color of the morning; hope he came down some for you. We had the rainy yesterday, but today is beautiful with a high in the low 70's - one of the nicest days we've had in a while!

NYC? Cool - never been. My kids went on mission trips (and the oldest went to Broadway). Being from rural NC, my younger two came home saying they saw things they had n-e-v-e-r seen before!! :o :o @-) I hope y'all have a great trip!!!

Have a wonderful evening -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Hi again,
So, Rusty came down by lunch time but then started back up again. I suppose it could have been a short shot this morning. It has been a cool and sunny day here and Rusty had lots of outdoor time this afternoon. He chased a chipmunk, but Chip-Chip got away up a tree.

Off to visit some condos, bbl,

Ella & Rusty
