Morning everyone! ~O)
Shadow is bouncing high into the yellows now and I am wondering if it is from not having really decent LB action lately. I thought things would be fine yesterday when he left a little deposit but that was all, nothing added. This morning I gave him some tuna oil and Miralax and we are waiting for some activity from that. With the raw added to the canned, their poops seem to have taken on an every-other-day schedule which is fine but when they don't go, that means it's been 4 days. :YMSIGH: Raja is regular right now, it's just Shadow. I am waiting for those magical poops today.. When this bounce clears, I will be adding a hair more to his dose unless the poops come and make a dramatic difference in his numbers.

I went btb this morning for 3 hours..not feeling all that great lately to be honest. My sleep is broken with dreams of BG numbers and alarms and well, I am just not feeling so chipper lately. My house is a mess and I guess I am at a very low point right now. I feel better after getting added sleep during the day, but if that doesn't happen, it's a big setback to me physically and emotionally. When I do get a good nap in like today, I wake up and half the day is already gone. I am a mess as I said! :lol:
I am thankful that my DH understands and accepts things. If others do not, so be it.

Morning All!! Pat, the nite pokes all night could be part of it. I dont know how you all do it--But I DO understand...
My guys get 1/8 tsp Miralax every day in their food..It works great! Rarely a day w/o magical poops! :lol: :lol: :lol:
We ALL understand it--we all know the feelings--Please rest up-We need you here!
Bg's can go up from non-poopis!!--Hope things calm down today!!

Ok....I'm definitely not a poet.....Just trying to help you to feel better Pat. Since that's what YOU do every day for everyone else day in and day out.

Maybe folks here need to start a Dessert Condo again.....Hope you feel better soon Pat...and that Shadow shows some action in the LB soon.

Hey pat - I'm with you - we spend so much time with our babies. It is draining emotionally and physically. Get some rest - I hope. I know I need it too. You 'll feel better then. I too am glad that DH doesn't care about the state of this place, and the others - i simply don't care. :-D

and I hope Shadow delivers with the magical poops. I never know with Mannie - we have two LB's, but they are jointly shared - I just never know who does what - they are sneaky and only deliver when I am sleeping. darn cats!

the raw does limit their poop size and times but I hope Shadow give you that scented gift soon.

(((Pat))) I don't ever sleep, so I have a permacranky mood, and I can sympathize. You are taking such good care of your babies so there is nothing wrong with taking care of YOURSELF as well. Your kitties need you healthy.

Regarding poops and raw food, I don't know if you ever saw a thread about raw food on the old board. Dr. Lisa mentions the poop texture change and constipation:

Oh Pat, how I understand :YMHUG: The lack of sleep and emotional toll, is draining.
I've been feeling down myself, lately, and had words with my son yesterday about his lack of understanding about my involvement with Checkers.
I'd send you some yummy pie and brownies if I could. That helps for ummm 5 minutes. :-D
I hope you get some magical poops soon.

And Barb...my DD is the one on my case. I am afraid I am not setting a good example for her with my housekeeping skills...but hey, I was NOT expecting Better Homes and Gardens to arrive for any photo shoots lately. I would have straightened up the place in THAT case! I didn't even know she was coming up form her apartment to sit and chat!! :o

And well maybe the kitty cubes and all the bananas lying around in the living room is upsetting to someone else...but not to Raja & Shadow!! My priorities have changed in my old age anyway...who gives a rats you-know-what about dust. It falls no matter what ya do. I cannot chase it every waking moment. I have other things on my mind, right? She is "worried" about me and that is sweet...but get out of my face, I will do as I please with my time. :lol: Do as I SAY, not as I DO!!! :mrgreen:

Right on! Pat!! Now, if I have any blondies left over after the pot luck supper tonight, I'll send you some. Otherwise, I'll send you the Texas country recipe and you can mess up your kitchen even more by baking!! I have a great suggestion for tonight: don't set any of your alarms. Shadow will appreciate it and so will you.

Too funny Pat and here here! (or is it hear hear?) I've always doted on my cats and my kids were raised to sit somewhere else rather than moving the cat off the couch, and hearing things like, "I can't come pick you up right now, Kibby's on my lap," or "Shnookie's on the car" so my added concern and obsession over Muffin is no surprise or concern at all. :lol: (That really makes me sound like the crazy cat lady when I put it in writing! I wish I could say I was joking...)

oohhh, Linda- i raced to the link expecting gastric delights...

Sugarpat- i may be putting my foot in it here (thanks, linda) but when i worked with family counseling, we insisted that the caregivers take periodic breaks. so, maybe the wedding will turn out to be an unexpected but well-earned benefit. i know nothing of your situation, but i do know we could not do without you here to keep us going!

I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather, Pat. I know how you feel and its sometimes hard to break out of that funk. I hope Shadow will give you some magical poop and then some magical numbers to make you feel better.

DH and I were praising him and then I noticed Raja on top of my dresser with the expression that said:
"Why are you praising HIM...he only did poops...not a big deal in MY books!"

Oh, look out Pat. This is how it starts. First they are "worried" about you, and the next thing you know, they are taking you for a ride in the car and dropping you off at the Old Folks' Home.

This same DD just called me from her apt downstairs. It seems there is suddenly a virus in her computer and since I am SO patient with things like this, is there any way that she could bring it up and have me look at it? No hurry of course, but if I could fool around with it and fix it, she would be ever so grateful!! LMHO!
I ALMOST said I was busy cleaning and getting ready for the Better Homes & Garden Photo shoot...but I didn't. Cleaning my refrigerator just got pushed down a notch on my list but that's okay. I don't mind.

It has been a while since you passed this little nugget along but I got some at the store after you mentioned it. Another bit of "Pat Wisdom" that really helped me yesterday - Friskie's Prime Fillet - you are right. Has a TON of gravy in a 5oz. can. I am putting that back on my grocery list, we used all we had yesterday. That stuff is great!
