WOOT, and let's roll! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was the best! Me and William and Nicholas, had the best of times! We swam, we hiked a little, we napped. Well the boys napped, I didn't.  Pool was so fun. I remember writing last week about how he truly had missed having the big pool to swim in, how he didn't want to swim in the beach/kiddie pool. At first I thought it was due to his being tired or having an off day, but as the minutes there wore on it was clearly because he wasn't in the pool he wanted to be in. We ran into the same issues yesterday too. So BIG POOL only for a while until the appeal of the slides and water works returns. Today was fixed soon enough and the energizer FISH was hard at it. Here's what I wrote in last nights post: "HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and I did make it to the pool today, the BIG POOL! Once again he really didn't want to have a thing to do with the beach play area. it is kinda odd, but I think he has wanted to be in the big pool for long that now that he can nothing else will do. So we spent most of our time there, playing buckets, jumping in, fetching things from the bottom of the pool. He had a great time. It is so strange not to have many people there in the mornings now. Fall is here, and the kids are back in school. We had almost that whole big pool all to ourselves. SWEET!" Picassa link: Swimming!

Breakfast has become quite the production around here lately. Nicholas loves to "make" waffles. Thank goodness for Eggos! He gets to make them all by himself, hooray for toasters. He's too fun. While they are cooking he sits right next to the toaster, munching on blackberries until they POP on up.  Off to the table we go, syrup and butter in tow, and a box of blackberries. It's funny how such a simple routine brings his such happiness. While William slurps on his bottle Nicholas chows down on waffle after waffle, blackberries on top, syrup dripping off each piece... Breffis!. In that album are a couple of photos I tried to take of the full moon (well almost). Not the best, but we did get a glimpse of what will be tomorrow night. My DD is still working half days, for a few more weeks, and stopped her at the house, to spend a few with us. Of course I took a few photos: Nicholas and William

Have a great day everyone! I will have both boys again today. I hope to be able to go to a river, or maybe a sandy beach here if the tides are low enough. We shall see what pans out. The weather is supposed to be warm and 75, and sunny. Gotta be outdoors for that! I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Morning Michelle, stopping by to visit some of my friends and place an order for my coffee fix, much needed today. Thank you Elsa for bringing my coffee every day and my neighbors, too, Auntie Ann.
Those are some great pics of Nicholas in the big pool. He sure is the Energizer Fish. I love the way he fusses over William. Those waffles sure do look good. :-D Have a great time today with both Nicholas and William/ I'm glad your weather will be nice. Our temps are about the same here today, mid 70's. I actually turned the heat on this morning. Scritches to Elsa, Lola and Bug.

Oh my. I love the breffis pictures! William is so alert and Nicholas is growing up way too fast. Looks like you have your hands full, but are having a lot of fun. So adorable on the pics with Nicholas and WIlliam laying together. :-D Have a great day today Michelle!

Hi Michele.it. Sounds like you're have a good time with the boys. Glad Nicolas was able to get back in the BIG pool again. It's so neat how quickly they adapt to the water.

Yo Elsa, be careful flying the jet. Precious cargo there! Hey Bug and Lola. It's a pleasure to have you on the Kitchen Krew. You'll see that I put some pizzas down for appetizers tonight. The Full Harvest Moon Party will be great fun.

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Nicholas and William and I had the best of times. We did go to the river, but not the salmon run part. Nicholas was so involved with where he was that I just couldn't see pulling him away from that, and well we also had some time restraints. We did the Skykomish River out of Gold Bar today, a small town on HWY 2. What a beautiful day there today, sunny and warm. The river is low right now, so lots of opportunities for the little guy to have fun in the water, wade out what he viewed as far. We only had a couple of "I can'ts" today, a relief. They seem to stem from missing his mom, having her home, now that she's gone back to work. He really liked having her home so she could come and see him do his stuff, in the pool, at the river, etc. All is OK, as he will adjust in time , and once again back to the old routine oh always saying "Let's go!" He one excited kid to be going to the river today. I asked him where he wanted to go, and out came "Jack's Pass!!!", which I would have done but not enough time to do that (it's a two hour drive) and meet erin at the house when she got there. so.... he settled for the sand and rocks of Big Eddy at Gold Bar (only an hours drive). It is a very good spot for him: easy river access, a gorgeous river, sandy shorelines, RR tracks that cross the river down stream, small rivulets, and tons of tossable rocks. On the way there he's calling out the towns as we go through them: "Monroe!" Sultan!" "Startup!" "Gold Bar!" Too funny: he knows then all. It was a non-stop commentary from the back seat. What a hoot. And then I got "Grammie! Look! There's a coffee place. You better get some!" oh HAHAHAHAHA. We spent the two hours we were there playing in the sand, tossing and retrieving sticks from the river, running barefoot in the puddles, watching the eagles fly. William slept through 2/3 of it. oh well, that's OK too. What a great day on the river. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

HI ANN! THX on the pics. He does love the water and can just keep on swimming. amazing! I too love the way he fusses over William - he really does love him, wants to help all the time. THX on today. We rally did have a great time. It was sunny and warm there - perfect weather to be playing at rivers edge. Oh wow - you turned on your heat? I have a friend here who has too. I'm trying to hold off until absolutely necessary...
