9/18 Hershey



HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

Hershey earned a PM shave to .6u. These greens are probably still from his depot, but hoping he decides he likes this new dose and will keep seeing greens on a regular basis!

He's still feeling good and looking good! Doug picked up a new laser light a couple of days ago and broke it out Monday night. He had Oreo jumping a little over 4'5" up the wall - that's awesome, especially considering he's a lot smaller build than Hershey! Hershey used to love laser pointers, but since the FD, he just looks at it like he's not sure what to do...like he WANTS to play...sometimes he'll even jump at it once, but once he's down on the floor can't figure out what to do next. It's VERY sad!!!! WELL - Monday night, he started playing with the light! He didn't have the same fierceness that Oreo had, but he played - oh, YAY!! Last night, he played, again - not as long as Monday night, but it was encouraging! So, the last P is coming along...

Back to washing clothes and getting things in place for when the baby is born. If we at least knew a time of day, it'd be easier to plan for, but of course, babies aren't forthcoming about that! Jessica has decided, 'Babies are a lot of trouble and Ginnie needs to hurry up and have him!" :lol: Ginnie is still having contractions, but not enough or strong enough. Bless her heart, she now has an AWFUL cold and is coughing herself silly! Well - back 'to do' -

That's so cool that Hershey is playing! I wish J.D. would play. He hasn't played since Ginger came along.

Nice to see that you are still living in that dream world where kitties don't bounce from pretty colors! Hershey is looking good! Congrats on the decrease. It's great that he is feeling playful at these lower numbers too.

It sounds like the furless grandkitten is trying to keep everyone guessing. Poor Ginnie - a cold on top of it all. Sending over a few "get over the cold quickly" vines to her.

Hey, Dyana - Thanks. Yes, seeing Hershey play the last two days sure warms my heart. Of course, I can't let him SEE me watching him or he'll stop. Silly kitty. All that time I thought he stopped playing because he was getting older (never had a cat this old), but maybe it was the FD.

Hey, Wendy - :lol: Yes, let me enjoy my dream world a little longer. I'm afraid, soon enough, Hershey will snap me back to reality. :roll: It is great to Hershey feeling good! At one point, he was stalking Oreo and instead of just wagging his back end, he started scratching like a bull about to charge. It was a funny sight and hard to be quiet so he didn't know I was watching! :lol:

Thanks for the well-wishes for Ginnie. It is miserable to be sick and can't take anything. But, soon enough, he'll be born and she'll quickly learn it's only the beginning. ;-) :lol:

Nice +5 there Hershey! I hope you surf nicely for your mama as it sounds like she has a lot on her plate....like helping Ginnie prepare for a baby!

Hershey is feeling good & we are so Happy for you! That's how you know he is healing & in the right dose range--The numbers are the numbers, but when the WCR is like today--You are making porgress--

Hey, Tamara - He's surfing nicely so far - Woo-hoo! Yes, I've been trying to give Ginnie the benefit of my experience when she opens the door for it. She's grown, so I'm trying to respect that space. Parenting adults is HARD!
