Happy Happy Monday!!!! Beautiful weather, Mike got home this morning, no TBP for me, Punkin starts his tests/treatment (GOOD LUCK AND MANY PRAYERS), and most of all, our darling baby girl is happy.

A little bouncy today but still her very sweet purry self. The next door neighbor is having trees trimmed and the big tree grinding truck is noisy but she is sound asleep on her favorite perch on her catio. She has all breffis's eaten and no stink eye in evidence :lol: :lol: :lol: We hope she will settle into this dose (although it's a tough one to draw accurately) and get rid of the bounciness.

Thank you all for your incredible posts in our "anniversary" condo. I know it is weird to have a condo commemorating Gracie being FD for a year. BUT....it's more celebrating the progress, her health, and each of you and what you've brought to her and to us. So again...our sincere thanks. We enjoyed every single word. And Gracie and Tobey had a BLAST at Willie's party!!! As you can tell by her numbers, Gracie ate too much corn after a year of having none. And Tobey....I think he ate the whole cinnamon cake and then headed to Camp Stu to get more from Auntie Ellabean. Gracie said they had a lovely visit with Punkin and Anya on the way to Camp Stu. She took him some grilled corn. :lol: :lol:

Busy day for us....we're still working in the yard and today are laying new line for the landscape lights. We wish you all a lovely day.

I absolutely believe that these types of anniversaries are important to celebrate. Remission is only one piece of what we do here, and while it is certainly our end goal, it is not the only measure of success. One need only to look at Gracie to see the many other ways we find victories in the sugar dance. :-D :-D

So glad the kids enjoyed their goodies! :lol: :lol: :lol: Enjoy your day... wish I was spending mine outdoors!!

What an Annifursary celebration for Gracie! Those greens were absolutely lovely. She's starting near the same place today, are you gonna repeat, 'Lil G?

I'm so glad you are liking the way Levemir works for Gracie. It definitely gives you breathing space, it's getting so I can actually guess where Tess is going (sort of, sometimes :roll: :lol: )

I agree - annifursaries are very important! A reminder of how much better off we all are after a year HERE.

And of course, there are the niptinis and tunaritas. Any excuse.

Loving that +4. Gracie is SO pretty in blue!

and gracie continues in her new role as a flat cat! that's awesome to see how the different insulin is working on her. might help some of our other zoomeroes!

looking forward to getting to hang out on LL on evening patrol again with ya, marjorie! normal is good. i miss you too! and i agree, OTJ is not everything - healthy is everything. getting our kitters stable and as healthy as possible - that's the best!

tell me again which vet clinic you are at? the student we are working with is from tucson - i can't remember the name but if you said it i would recognize it. this is his first acro kitty and he said maybe he would use punkin for his Grand Rounds in 3 weeks, but he didn't want to get too excited or fixed on it because today was his first day in internal medicine. hahahaha - he's cute. anyway, i wondered if it was the same clinic you took your kitters to.

Gracie, I hear that your party last night was a real blast! You certainly did have fun. And those are good numbers for the day after.
Marje, I totally agree that the most important thing is a happy, healthy kitty on or off the juice.
I hear that Tobey and Gus are having dentals tomorrow and want to send good dental vines. KTSS will be along when they get home. Rusty will bring some cinnamon smoothies!

Just peeked at your SS GRacie, looks like you had way too much fun last night. But i think it was really from wearing green so why ot go back there?
 
Hi all!!!

Thanks for visiting....what a day we had. I was out early to pick up the new honeycomb cellular blinds for the guest rooms. The driveway dudes were here when I got back and that conversation took 4-ever. Then Mike and I hung the blinds and then worked outside what remained of the day. I was out there until almost dark while he was giving squids.

Yes, Ann.....someone had WAY too much corn last night and somewhere the blue disappeared. :evil: :evil: :evil: Her bounces seem to start about 24 hours after a low number so I wondered....and there it was. Hope she clears it soon.
I'd take her back up 'cept she got to 55 on this dose yesterday.

Hi guys! sorry to be so late in visiting! long day, and so late to condos.

What a nice day she had yesterday - great numbers! Sorry for the bounce today, but at least it was only a yellow one, unlike some other kitty I know....
 
Bounces do seem to take a longer time to set in too, just when you think you are safe.BAM! :roll: But they don't last as long usually.

Ni NI, Wow you got a lot done today. Good luck on the dentals tomorrow.
