Pirate Fitz's Condo Cove

Right now I'm just letting the Pirate sail her own course. Only testing twice a day unless her behavior warrants. I'm home all day with her right now. WCR - 4Ps in place. She came to bed last night and let me love her into an awesome purr session. No playing yet and I'm going to take a hint from the mommy advice post.

Hope all are well. Healing vines to all who need them.

The mommy post I'm referring to was a wonderful note to us mommy's from our furrs that told us basically to chill now that they are FD kitties. I've been focused on The Pirate's lack of playing, something she loves to do, as a warning signal that something is brewing. That might be the case, but I realized after reading it that I'm a wee bit too focused and it's probably making her cranky. :?

Shai. I loved reading that letter to Mom from kittie. It is so true we stress over every little thing and make a mountain out of a molehill .
It made me think back many years to my father telling my mother : "If you treat the kids like hothouse flowers, they won't survive in the real world". Over many years, I've found there is a lot of truth in that!
I also heard him often say " they'll eat when they're hungry!" .... Boy, my dad was a smart guy !! I didn't think so back then. :smile:

You're probably right. Chill and enjoy each other.

I can't seem to locate said letter... where might I find it? I remember running across it when I first got here and it went by in a blurr, like so many things at that time! If you could direct me to it, I`d be much obliged ...

Indeed The Black Sails does seem like a fine vessel! :razz:

Last New Year's Eve, when Zener wasn't doing well and we beans were stressing bit time, Zener told me "More petting and less worry". So that became my New Year's Resolution. :-D Sometimes I even succeed.

I grew a big pot of catnip and oat grass for the kitties. I make it a point almost every day to give one or both to Tucker and Sophie.
After catnip, Tucker will really sleep in my lap and go into a PURRRRRfect relaxation mode. I figure it has to be good for him too!

Well, 'tis most certainly that. We want to let ye know we're honored by yer presence here and hope when ye depart our company and return to yer own sea-worthy tall ships ya do so in safe passage.

@Alexa & Reuben - good on ya - ye know a fine vessel when yer aboard one. We hope ye found the Mommy article from our furrs and that all is ship shape on your own vessel.

@ Sienne - thanks for bumping it up so all can take a gander at its fine advice.

@Rhiannon & Shadow - roses and catnip be a fine libation of the nose. The Capt'n heartily approves.

@Chris & Tucker - you dad sounds like a fine pirate himself. All parents must read that particular piratical verbiage - heard it more than a bit in our abode.

@Liz - Zenner is wise in his counseling. We appreciate his (and your) able assistance.

sorry been super busy- 8 month pregger daughter is very demanding....i see ftiz is holding her own numbers without insluin :-D Lets see where she is tomorrow morning (because I know you have a very busy next few days- my prayers are with you- I think it is white lights and vines here- but you get the idea :mrgreen: ) Because you may not be available I would not give insulin and lets see if she can bring herself down on her own- with her normal feeding schedule. Just my 2 cents worth- I also forgot about the "cat to mommy post". Yay for purring session- just remember Fitzel worries about you as much as you worry about her...she can sense when things are stressful...
