9/19/10 Korbel amps 176; +12 80 DOSE HELP

yesterday

Today started out a little higher than normal-granted only 30pnts so that could be meter variability
amps 176 1.25unit + 3oz wellness canned Timewise, this was about 20min late. I'm going to do all the testing as if I was on time this am
I'm going to try to focus on th e +5, +6, +7 today with hopefully a +10 or +11 at the end

Okay, I don't like her quite this low, but am also remembering that this glucometer runs lower than my old one. But I know for many these are dream numbers, its just that when she was OTJ for 3 years (7yrs ago) her bg was always right around 100.

I have to run out for a bit, be back in 30min or so to test.

Those are some nice green numbers, but you have to do what you're comfortable with. I hope you had a good weekend.

Shot in 1hr what to do?

I also did check her at +5 with both old and new meter and they were within 5pts of eachother, so not as much play in the numbers at the low end as in the higher numbers.
If she manages to get to 130-140 in the next hour, I'll give her a full dose, but what if she's only 120s or even under 100 yet?

it's nice to see green! It looks like Korbel usually surfs around at about the same range that you shoot, so if you shoot 80's then maybe she'll keep surfing 80's. I would see what the +12 is, but I personally don't think you need to wait til 130 to shoot. Lots of cats surf green all the time.

I know what you are saying, I guess I'd just like her to surf at 100 or 110 rather than 80. A little more wiggle room if she goes lower for some reason.
She was OTJ around 100 for 3 yrs (granted I think she had a bit of sputter left in her pancreas back then!), so I'm just more comfortable around 100 since I'm not home during most of the day and wouldn't be able to interfere.
I'll see what +12 is, but I'd prefer she be over 100-even if its just 101 since she does seem to get a 30pt drop or so on a pretty regular basis
